I think we had been talking about how I'd want to commission Virne from him prior that. After that we used Twitter DM's for communication! Maker CommunicationThe communication was great! I was always updated with progress pictures and double checked with some details. All my questions were also answered very quickly! Project Completion TimeWe didn't have a strict deadline or ETA, as Covid has just broken loose and some of the materials were really hard to find at the time. Initially we thought the suit could be done by the end of 2020, but things not depending on the maker happened so it got a bit delayed. Overall Project QualityI am SUPER happy with the outcome! The suit looks exactly how I wished and I wouldn't change anything about it. I am always in awe with how professionally made it is, and wearing it brings me so much joy. It is absolutely worth the price! The reason I chose Lomonosov as my maker is definitely how well they make different species and how expressive all their suits look, and I'm so happy with how Virne looks; it's so accurate to the character's nature and I couldn't have chosen a better maker for them. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThis is the most comfortable fursuit head I have ever worn! It fits me perfectly, and doesn't flop around even when I'm dancing and going all over the place, but still doesn't feel too tight even after hours of wearing nonstop. It's lined with lycra, and even though I always wear a balaclava underneath it feels super soft and comfy. The breathability is good, haven't had any issues with it. The vision without the magnetic eyelids is amazing, with the eyelids obviously pretty narrow, but I can still see around all fine and feel safe while moving. Visual SatisfactionThe head looks absolutely amazing. All the markings are there and the colours match the original design so well too! It looks very symmetrical and the shaving is very carefully done, giving the head a seamless look. All furs that have been used are very soft and high quality, and they don't really even need much brushing as they don't get that messy. The expression is SPOT ON especially with the eyelids! I'm absolutely in love with the mischievous look. The head also has beautiful detailing in the nose (which is pickable!) and the teeth. Hands Wear SatisfactionThe handpaws also fit like a glove (lol), and I don't have to worry about them falling off. I can get them both on without help from others. All the fingers move well and I can do different poses with them! At least so far they seem very durable and haven't popped any seams, and I doubt they will. They have also been fully lined and feel very comfortable. Visual SatisfactionThe handpaws look beautiful and very marten-like, which I adore! The pawpads are puffy and the claws are big. One claw points a bit to the side, but you can barely notice it. The same soft fur has been used for the paws. I'm not actually sure what fabric has been used for the pawpads, but it's very smooth and doesn't get bumpy like fleece often does. The claws are faux leather and look great. Tail Wear SatisfactionThe tail has also been carefully sewn and is just a perfect lenght so it won't drag on the ground. It's comfortable to wear and wag around, and the strap is very secure. Visual SatisfactionThe tail matches the original design and looks great! Special FeaturesThe head has magnetic eyelids for a meaner look. They are easy to attach and don't fall off!
