Payment was fairly easy through Boosty. I don't quite remember how I found the maker initially. Maker CommunicationWe switched to Telegram once it was my turn in queue. Responses were professional, straight-forward, helpful, kind, and timely (2 or 3 days maximum, rarely more than a day.) They asked many questions to be sure things were as I wanted – for example if the jawset was accurate and if the fur lengths were what I wanted. I was given many WIP pictures. Never felt frustrated or lost during the process. Project Completion TimeI was in queue for a while before my suit was started, I could see where I was at on the queue at any time through their Trello. I knew beforehand that it would be a good wait before I was up. An ETA was given but passed (which is fine, as they never tried to *guarantee* me it would be done at any specific time and kept communication flowing even when passed.) Suit was shipped about a week after completion, had some issues with customs and needed to be mailed out again, but after that arrived fine and as expected. I was given tracking both times. Overall Project QualityOverall, a pretty high quality suit with mainly small, inconsequential issues. Looks very accurate to the reference, simple to wear, not uncomfortable, legs are incredible. Met my expectations, very worth the price. The only thing I'm really concerned about is the hands being a bit too tight, but otherwise I believe the suit will last me a long time. Components Head Wear SatisfactionHead is has a good, snug fit & is fairly comfortable. It originally had elastic bands around your head as well, but the hot glue detached from the base on one side after about 1.5/2 months, I haven't reattached it since, as it still stays on just fine. Comfortably fleece-lined where your face makes contact with the suit (mainly chin.) Vision is fairly good, low peripheral vision. When the mouth is open, the ventilation is good. The zipper closure was weakly attached to the fur and the seams popped open after a maybe 2 or 3 wears. I sewed over it again myself. The eyebrows also peeled off quick and very easily. I made and attached replacements. Both pretty easy fixes. There are a few things that don't necessarily affect the quality that I'm personally not worried about, but another person planning to commission might. Some areas on the ears, and where the ears meet the head in the front are unattached and can be lifted. The hair tuft is also hot glued directly to the fur on top of the head. Visual SatisfactionThe head is resin-based and has a moving jaw. It also features follow-me eyes with glow in the dark pupils, a silicone nose, hand-painted bottom jawset, long striped tongue, and zipper closure. It's a relatively small sized head. Expression is neutral, and pretty easy to achieve different emotions at different angles in my opinion. Both the base itself and the fur/patterns are very symmetrical, the shaving is even and has good transitions from short to long fur. All colors are well matched to the reference sheet, including the silicone nose. Seams are very well hidden. Most of the fur is soft and easily brushed. All markings are accurate except one. Some markings (purple dots next to eyes, tips of purple markings from eyes to nose, purple nose to mouth marking,) were painted on. I was told they would be painted on, but I assumed the fur would still be soft. The paint is caked on and very rough/crunchy – it looks fine but not fun to touch. The eye dot markings are painted on top of the fur fibers and can be easily moved around or pulled off – I cannot brush there without destroying the paint. I'll likely remove them and attempt to redo them. The white on the chin and the white on the neck are meant to be a continuous marking, but they were made into two separate ones divided by the main pink. I understand since I never gave a side-view reference, plus it was visible early on in the WIP images I was given, and I didn't catch it, so that's my bad. It looks fine to me anyways and I might not edit it. Upper Body Wear SatisfactionArmsleeves are unlined and have a unique long, stretchy cuff on the top ends. They are fairly comfortable, the cuff is especially comfortable on my shoulders. No seams popped on the sleeves. Armsleeves are a bit loose and fall down easily. I will fix this myself with an elastic back strap. The unique top cuffs are nice, but fray the fabric very easily when brushed and cause a lot of loose threads/strings I need to trim off. One thing that doesn't necessarily affect the quality that I'm personally not worried about, but another person planning to commission might – bottom ends of sleeves are raw fur edge/no cuffs. Visual SatisfactionThe sleeves match the reference sheet very well, Irruan is very skilled and portrayed the complicated markings perfectly. They are symmetrical to each other, fur is soft and easy to brush. Shaving is fairly neat and even, markings are clear and well-shown. Hands Wear SatisfactionHands are unlined and have a unique long, stretchy cuff. They are very dexterous and it's easy to do pick things up, open doors, etc. The claw placement is AMAZING, right at the fingertips and feels very natural as if they were my own claws. Paw-pads have stayed attached nicely. They never feel like they are sliding or falling off. The cuff is nice for the transition from paws to arms. They are almost the perfect size, very snug. Unfortunately they are barely too tight. They are nicely snug when I do get them on, but I have to struggle to pull them on at times. Pulling them on has also consistently torn the purple stripe wrist marking's seams, but when I sew the seam closed again it makes them even tighter, so I'll have to heavily adjust them. The unique cuff is nice, but frays the fabric very easily when brushed and causes a lot of loose threads/strings I need to trim off. Visual SatisfactionThe hands are five-fingered, have silicone paw-pads, and I believe resin claws. They are symmetrical and match the reference sheet entirely. Silicone is well color-matched. The claws all face the right direction, are large and sturdy. Shaving is even. Hands overall look very nice and anthro. The right center pawpad has a random black dot embedded in it. One thing that doesn't necessarily affect the quality that I'm personally not worried about, but another person planning to commission might – claws have a small bit of bubbles from casting visible on the undersides. Tail Wear SatisfactionTail is about 15.5 inches long and well-stuffed, pretty solid but not heavy. Moves nicely. Belt loop was large and very loose, possibly made for a kidney belt/larger belt. Moved around a lot on a standard belt. Easy fix to tighten the strap to fit standard belt, no issues with the tail. Visual SatisfactionTail is symmetrical, matches reference exactly, and has a nice natural curve to it. Good size for the rest of the suit, soft and fluffy, easy to brush. Special FeaturesThe feet/legs are solid, wood & foam-based stilts. There is the foot base which goes to the heel, that I then cover with a zipper-secured fur sleeve up to my knees. The foot base itself is about 9.5 inches tall, secures with boot-like shoelaces and a velcro calf strap. I wear with just socks. Adds about 6 or 7 inches to my total height. Four toes are individually furred, claws are resin and very solid. Base without the fur cover looks very neat and well-structured, covered with fleece and other fabrics – no exposed wood or foam. Has paw-pads, toe-pads are fleece, center paw-pad is durable rubber and holds most weight. The feet are pretty heavy, but not too bad. Sleeves are unlined and have a unique long, stretchy cuff on the top ends. For being stilts, the feet are pretty comfortable. Surprisingly easy to balance and move in after a bit of practice, including outside and other uneven areas. The leg sleeves match the reference sheet very well, Irruan is very skilled and portrayed the complicated markings perfectly. They are symmetrical to each other, fur is soft and easy to brush. Shaving is fairly neat and even, markings are clear and well-shown. It takes a while to take them on and off, but they are secure once on and don't slip or adjust too much. Haven't had any seams popped on the sleeves. Overall they look INCREDIBLE. One of my favorite things about the suit. The shape they make is clean and natural, very anthro-looking. The unique cuffs are nice, but fray the fabric very easily when brushed and cause a lot of loose threads/strings I need to trim off. A few popped seams on the fabric/toe paw-pads and the toes themselves, but have had no issue resewing those. Paw-pads had to be made black on the feetpaws, since the rubber they use for the center paw-pad can only be black or brown. I was alerted to this and I am fine with it. Learned the hard way that you will want to stretch before and after wearing, they are similar to heels and can put stress on your toes/feet especially if you are like me and crouch, move, run around a decent amount in suit.
