I didn’t have any issues, so no.

I asked for her to be done by late January for my first con, but she had a lot of work! I’m actually glad; it was good to have experienced one suit-free, and she was finished not long after the con!

Character Concept Art

Head

Wear Satisfaction

It’s a little loose on me, but not too much so– just in a comfortable way. I gave the measurements rounded up so that it would be that way! The ventilation is good! She has a slot out of the mouth, which though it’s small, it helps more than having none at all. Air circulates generally well!

The vision is pretty good! I can’t see below her muzzle level across, and I have to turn my head to see. Note, however, that I’m legally blind in my left eye, so that’s a big part of it, so movements to see well would be needed, anyhow. I’m very satisfied with the vision!

Visual Satisfaction

She is gorgeous. There is nothing glaringly asymmetrical about the suit. The shaving has beautiful transitions and is really smooth all over. You can’t see the backing from the outside. The fur is incredibly soft, too!!

Her freckles and chin marking are airbrushed, but the fur there is still soft; it’s not crunchy at all, and they haven’t rubbed off. Her expression is so adorable! I’m beyond pleased with how cute and happy she looks, given that she’s an upbeat, silly character. She has follow-me eyes which are beautifully painted.

Hands and Feet

Wear Satisfaction

I will say that the handpaws are ridiculously comfortable. I wear them all the time. They are four-fingered and are well-fitted. They go most of the way down my forearm, so as long as I’m wearing at least a 3/4 sleeve shirt, my skin won’t show at all!

I can move, flex my fingers, wave, etc. all comfortably. There are resin claws, but they haven’t fallen out. Series gave me some extra claws if they ever do and I lose them, however.

The interiors are not lined, but I don’t feel that they need to be. The fabric backing isn’t scratchy or uncomfortable at all. There are cuffs on them, as well (pink, like her nose/inner ears).

Visual Satisfaction

The paws are too cute. They’re symmetrical and match the reference. The shaving is mostly even, and the transition to the paws (shaved) to the the arm (long) is smooth. There were a few spots near the fingertip/seam that were uneven, but I fixed that myself with ease. The fur is still very soft, and her paw pads are made of minky, so they are very soft! I love how they look, feel, and move.

Tails

Wear Satisfaction

The tail is very comfortable to wear! It bounces and is very soft, and it’s pretty easy to put on. It attaches with a belt. The straps are nice and secure, even. It’s very bouncy and cute!

Visual Satisfaction

It’s symmetrical and beautiful! There was no shaving needed, and the fur is incredibly soft. I love the fur Series chose because her tail has a gradient to it from base to tip. Even though that’s not really possible with a fursuit, the fur she chose is dark at the base and is lighter at the tip which gives it a really cool effect when it moves/bounces!

Overall

Product Satisfaction

How was your concept art realized?
The suit is perfect! It perfectly matches her reference. Even though she usually has gauges, the maker said she didn’t think it fit the aesthetic of the suit, which I wholeheartedly agree with. The markings themselves are spot on!

How well does everything fit together and match up?
Everything is perfect!

Overall Project Quality
It’s amazing quality! 10/10

Purchase Process

Initial Contact
It was pretty easy! I asked one day if she did trades, and I got a quote within a week or two as we worked out the details!

Maker Response Time
How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
Extremely so! She always got back to me within one or two days!

Maker Professionalism
Series was very friendly and easy to work with. I had some trouble getting they money to her, and she was very patient with me. She sent me WIPs of things as they were finished and always answered my questions!

Project Completion Time
Like I said, I asked for a late January deadline, and received it not long after. And I’m not upset that it was missed; I’m glad that I went to the con without a suit!

Honestly, I don’t have anything bad to say about Series. She’s professional yet friendly, easy to contact, keeps you updated on your suit, and does quality work! Her prices are definitely fair for her level of work; I’d definitely recommend commissioning her.
