Maker CommunicationThe communication was excellent. I got to see and discuss each detailed part of the head as it was being made, and the maker was open to potential changes along the way. I really appreciated how smooth and clear everything was. Project Completion TimeI first contacted the maker in November and paid a rush fee to have the project finished by the end of May. Once they started working, the process was very fast. They completed the head within a week and shipped it out immediately after it was finished. I received the suit just three days later, on April 25th, 2025, which was well ahead of the original deadline. The shipping was smooth, timely, and tracking was provided. Overall Project QualityI’m very happy with the result! The communication throughout the process was smooth, and I was able to see and give feedback on each detailed part of the head, including potential changes to the pattern and hairstyle. The maker also sculpts the head base individually for every client, so each face ends up being unique to its owner. I was honestly shocked to see them work their sculpting magic with Nomad right on their phone. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe head itself was actually very comfortable to wear. Fully lined with no exposed glue. It was slightly too big at first, but the maker included extra padding, which helped make it fit better. Vision is about what you’d expect from a realistic suit—definitely not ideal—and I absolutely need a handler while walking around. My only real complaint is with the moving jaw: in this maker’s style, it feels very loose and not fluid. Sometimes I’ll close my own mouth, but the suit’s mouth stays open, I will need to lower my head and press my lower jaw against my chin to close it. Visual SatisfactionAbsolutely stunning. Smooth shaving, crispy airbrush, no bald spot, no exposing glue or stains, perfect details on the eyes and teeth, the most stunning head I own hands down. Would have it on my wall and admire it every day. Special FeaturesThe head has a mechanism inside that I can control like puppetry, which lets it blink naturally like a real cat—a really impressive feature. However, the string attaching the mechanism was a little too thin and has snapped a few times where it connects to my hand. I’ve been able to reattach it myself, but I do hope the maker can switch to a stronger string in the future.
