Project completion really caught me off guard. Rigel went from commission submission to completed within 4 months despite being behind 2 other projects along the queue.
I could not be any happier with how Rigel came out as a fursuit. I fell in love with their previous fox fursuit, and Rigel just came out better than I expected. He is overall very quality everywhere.
The fitment of the head is very spot to the form of my head. There's very little horizontal rotational movement and slight vertical movement which affects vertical field of view minorly. As a person who wears glasses, this fitment does make putting on the head more difficult initially, but it isn't a problem once I figured a technique. Taking off the head however takes my glasses off from my face. The head rests close to the face which provides effective ventilation through the snout. The head does come lined as well.
The markings match perfectly to the ref sheet as Rigel is a relatively simple character. The form of the head is distinctively foxlike, and the shaving and intricate tufts of furs definitely reinforce that. Those details really bring the design to life. The stitching and shaving of the fur are very well done.
The head is built on a casted foam base created by the maker. Airbrushing is used as detailing around the mouth. Teeth are plush. Hook and loop eyelids are used to change expressions.
Rigel's handpaws are stuffed and lined. They fit well to my hands and allow okay dexterity despite the stuffing.
Claws are plush and are sewn to the paws. The cuffs at the opening of the paws are hemmed as well.
No complaints on how the paws look and are built. They are just very nice paws.
The tail has two straps of webbing that attach to the belt very securely and allows the tail to swing nicely. On me, they almost nearly touch the ground being a shorter person.
Same as the paws. The tail is well constructed.
