Prior ExperienceThis is my first fursuit

Informed Maker of IssuesYes.

I informed the maker regarding issues with the handpaws not being lined, making them very itchy to wear, and that the eyelids do not stay attached, with the slightest movement they fall off.

Overall

Initial ContactI found out about this maker initially on the Getfursuit website.
It was very easy to contact the maker for a quote initially.
Quote was given via email, after I had filled in their quote form.

Maker CommunicationWe moved to Telegram for communication as this was a easier method.

The communication to begin with was great, always prompt replies and updates given regularly for the first couple of months.
The communication fell apart approx 3 months in, though.
I had to chase them for 2 months for a further update, to which I was given a new ETA, which was 3 weeks from that contact, this was after the original ETA was already passed. I then did not hear anything again until I sent a formal email, which I then received a response and work quickly ramped back up, again.
There was excuses made.
I felt I was treated okay, when there was communication made. But I feel towards the end the whole project had became an afterthought.

Project Completion TimeI was originally told 4 months, which would have been April. That was missed. I contacted them In August I believe to ask if it would be ready in time for Eurofurence, as I really wanted to attend with my suit, I was told that 'the suit should be ready for then, yes'. Which it was not.

Eventually the suit was sent to me early September, which I received in 1 day.

Overall Project QualityOverall I am quite disappointed with the suit.

The only part that seems to be done properly is the feetpaws.

All other things seem to have one issue or another.

The head, feetpaws feel durable and i feel they will stand the test of time. The tail, I feel it is durable but also not, due to the foam it is made out of, I feel it could snap easily. The handpaws I do not feel are durable either.

The suit feels okay to wear as a whole, considering the issues mentioned. The build quality of the head & feetpaws feel high quality.

I feel that this project was not worth the price that I paid.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head fits okay, exact measurements of my head were given to the maker in the beginning and it does fit exact, but is definitely a bit snug and difficult to put on.
It is lined with what seems to be a balaclava lining. It does make it easy to clean, and does absorb sweat well.
The ventilation in the head is a problem, feels very stuffy inside there and with it being so tight fitting, it only adds to this problem. The only place for air to come in is the mouth, which isn't the biggest of openings.
The visibility is poor, the eyes feel placed quite high up to where my eyes are positioned whilst wearing, which results in a very large blindspot and to look straight ahead i have to angle my head down a little.

Visual SatisfactionFrom the outside, I am satisfied with how it looks. The markings and details are exact, the shaving of the fur is even. and feels high quality. The ears are not quite symmetrical but that is not quite noticeable unless you are looking for it. The nose is a little lopsided.
I am satisfied with the overall look and expression of the head, minus those couple problems. The eyes are follow me eyes which is awesome.

I opted for magnetic eyelids, which do not stay attached very well at all. With any slight movement, they fall off. Making them impossible to wear in normal use and only useful for photos when stood still.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionWearing the handpaws is quite uncomfortable & difficult.

They fit okay, they are rather oversized. They were definitely not made to measure and are just a onesize style, which is okay for some I would guess. They are quite loose.
The interior of them however, not so good.
They are not lined at all on the inside, even with a basic lining, which makes them quite scratchy against the skin, they have padding at the end of the fingers, but this is not secured in place so makes it very difficult to figure out how to place my fingers and makes it difficult to be able to hold things or have any grip whatsoever.

Visual SatisfactionThey look great from the outside. No issues to report.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail isn't the best to wear, it is made from a very high density foam it seems, so it doesn't allow for any give whatsoever. This also means it is very heavy, which results in needing to have the belt very tight to be able to keep the tail 'sturdy'.
Due to the weight of it, it makes it quite difficult to put on and make sure it is positioned correctly.

Visual SatisfactionVisually it looks fine, the colours are correct. The shaving is even, it is symmetrical, movement of the tail is non existent due to it being a solid piece of foam.

Feet

Wear SatisfactionThe feetpaws feel great to wear and I have no issues to report with them.
The interior is lined with a shoe that is my size, so fit is perfect.
They seem quite durable and overall good quality

Visual SatisfactionThey look amazing from the outside, with the colours matching perfectly and correctly shaven fur.

NO This review has been marked with a negative rating.
This means the reviewer would NOT recommend Queen Hiss Creations unless they significantly change their practices.

Final CommentsOverall, I would not recommend this maker. My reasons –

Poor/lack of communication

ETA's missed constantly – with one that could have cost me a lot financially due to I was reassured it would be ready for a con, I went with my gut and did not make any travel plans which I am glad that i did not.

Inconsistent quality – Some parts are good quality, some are not.

Aftersales/post commission support – I contacted the maker regarding the issues I had. However I have been left on read with no further communication, or advice given.

Price – After I have received everything, the price does not seem to reflect the quality of the suit.

They are a new maker and I went off of them only making one suit, their personal one. Their style looked amazing. They posted all stages of their own making in their Telegram channel and from this, they looked professional and looked like they knew what they was doing, with everything being done to a high standard. I am disappointed that my project was not treated the same.
