First contact was super easy. they responded very fast with a quote and got me on a payment plan face.
I found them through furaffinity but everything else was dealt with on facebook.
pass initial contact was radio silence
After first payment they went radio silent, I was always the first one to bring up my bi monthly payment and nudge them to tell them it was sent. they would always take a while to respond. They maker used ALOT of emojies which felt very condescending. The first completion date time frame they gave me was summer of 2017 which i was very excited for because i would have it in time for a con i was going to. Though i would was have to poke them to ask when work was going to start and where i was in their queue.
2018 hit and i was seeing people who commissioned them 2 months prior already receive their suits and so i questioned them on it. i reminded them how they keep on moving to ETA back and back and they proceeded to guilt trip me. lying about their house burning down and sending videos and burning houses to me. when they did this I needed to remind whoever i was messaging on their team that they were in fact a team of people who work in a office. they kept of dodging my questions and passed me around to many people on their team. finally i was passed to one person and they told me they already started work on my head, even though I received no notice or anything . they promised wips but i only got around 10 which was only of the head. i really needed to hand hold them through this making process. if I didnt ask for progress/wips it was wrong. they almost used neon colors on my suit when she is pastel. it took a whole 4 hours for them to finally understand what her eyes looked like ( even though it's shown on the ref)
The product was shipped to me with out them sending me final photos so i couldnt catch any mistakes.
Their communication is down right HORRIBLE. they treat their clients like dog water.
They passed over most of the set ETA's they gave me without even an excuse. they claimed they never gave me an ETA when i could easily scroll up and screen shot it.
i was not expecting to wait 3 years for a suit i was told would be finished in about 7 months
The over all quality does not hold up to the time i'v waited and the price I paid. waiting about 3 years for a suit that i couldn't even wear was super disappointing
The foam the head is made with makes it extremely hard to hear in, almost making everything echo around you. personally this gives me horrible head aches. aside from that the head is super super small. measuring it myself it comes to around 21-22" when i gave them the measurements of 23-24". this probably adds to the echoing and hearing issues.
Due to how small the head is on me i cannot wear it safely due to how much it impairs me.
The ventilation and vision would be also decent if i could wear the head properly, i have to sacrifice seeing or breathing due to how small the head is vertically.
The heads symmetry is lacking. My head has a lazy eye for example. Her left eye is caved in slightly downwards giving it a tiny follow me eye effect which is horrible for photos. This is not helped due to the head being small on the wearer, the head constantly looks like its looking down. along the lines of symmetry her jaw is a bit crooked. Aside from that there's visible black stitching on the chin area along a very very wonky seam. there is also poorly hot glued seams all on the ears, I believe only the spot on the back of the ear is the only sewn bit on them.
The whiskers all fell out within a year due to the only being lightly super glued right onto the fur itself . the mesh material used for the eyes and layered. due to it being layered the friction causes the paint to chip.
The look of the head almost dose match the concept art. It took a lot of correcting via DM's with the few wips I received. I only forgot to correct 1 thing and it was the color of the bridge of the nose.
Over all I'm not satisfied with how the head looks. it looks super rushed.
The hand paws are a bit lose but I personally dont mind that.
For hand paws that aren't lined the durability is ok, i haven't needed to do have repairs on them.
For generic flat hand paws they are ok
Visually they are ok.
I didn't receive any WIPS of these so i couldn't correct them when they forgot to add her claws.
The wail is ok to wear. It has a fur tail loop that isn't shaved making it super hard to get it onto a belt.
Everything visually about the tail is ok, it matches perfectly and looks nice while on.
The feetpaws is super front heavy and super lose on my feet. Since they are front heavy i have to shuffle when I walk, if I pick up my feet the start to fall off.
After 1 con of wearing them I retired them due to them being such a hazard to wear.
The feet are horrible to look at. the front two tows is HUGE making them kind of look like kangaroo feet. the main problem though is the bottom of the feet.
I requested outdoor feet because my characters paws are white. I was fully expecting what most outdoor feet paws have, normal black bottoms. what i received was a matt white rubber bottom with painted on paws. i would of asked for something different IF is received any WIPS, which i didnt. the bottoms of the feet had what looked like short black pet hair sealed into them. the maker told me after i few outings it'd fall out.
Due to the material and color of the feet bottoms and discolored VERY fast. orange-ish brow black skids cover the bottoms. no matter what i clean them with, even bleach, it does not come out. its embarrassing to wear them to cons.
