Prior ExperienceNo, this is my first fursuit. However, I have worn friends’ suits in the past before I got mine.

Wear Time+1 Year

Informed Maker of IssuesYes, but every complaint was somehow dodged and twisted so that it was my fault for tearing it by a violent move on my side or simply by the phrase “huh, this doesn’t usually happen…”

Overall

Initial ContactTelegram.

Maker CommunicationYes. He contacted me through telegram and he would send WIPs whenever he had updates.

Project Completion TimeVery dissatisfied. He took almost 2 years.

Overall Project QualityI saved for years for this fursuit. I live in a country were saving is not very easy, and this maker charges in US Dollars, even if he lives in the same country as me. BY NO MEANS DO I INTEND TO CRITICIZE HIS WAY OF WORKING OR HIS TOS because I accepted them the day I paid him. However, I expected a better quality for the price I paid, and a more reflective attitude for the maker when I told him about his product. Am I happy with my fursuit? No. I don’t like wearing it, and I don’t feel comfortable with it.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionWearing the head is quite comfortable. I would say it’s the only part of the actual suit that actually feels, or gets an approximate feeling, of wearing something pleasant. The maker has made a spot where my nose is supposed to go so that the head would not wobble, but with the passing of time it became a real pain in my nose. As regards the appearance of the head, I have some issues with it. I don’t particularly like how it looks from the sides and the back, since it feels as if the whole thing was made “separately”. The only angle I’m comfortable with while taking pictures is my front view, tilting my sight upwards to make my muzzle a little less too big.
As regards the airflow, I can breathe easily while I wear the furhead. The mouth is big enough for me to have drinks and for air to flow when it’s windy. Likewise, I would agree on the fact that the vision is OK too. I have a good eyesight, I can easily see to my sides, and the blind point in between the bridge of the muzzle is minimal. However, my boyfriend, whose fursuit was made by the same person, did not run with the same luck, even if it was a later production than mine.

Visual SatisfactionSymmetrically speaking, I do not like how the teeth look, since they pop out of the mouth, and they are quite too big for it. Similarly, the ears are slightly tilted and the black outline in the eyeslots is poorly attached. Unfortunately, the magnets and the eyelids run with the same fate. The magnets were loose and for some reason I haven’t understood yet, one of the lids had two magnets, both of which fell down twice. As regards the trimming of the fur, it was HORRID. If you can see the pictures attached in this section, you can spot every single mark the maker made by misplacing the trimmer and leaving a very clumsy, unneat touch to the hair of my character.

One-Piece Body

Wear SatisfactionIt’s very uncomfortable. My body fits, but the suit starts moving and it’s very difficult to move around. I can’t dance with it, I can’t jump, and the only time I tried running playing with some friends, the knees tore.

Visual SatisfactionThe fur overall matches the concept art of my fursona. However, detailing as regards stitches and finishing hems was really poor. See the attached album below to see what I’m talking about in more detail. The same remark will be made in the hand paws and footpaws as well. On the one hand, the hems on the head hole are inexistant. The stitches have started to cut loose since no finishing was done to this section. Apart from feeling really ticklish when I move, it looks really bad. On the other hand, the tail, which I had asked to be independent, and then asked to be attached to the body as one part, was place as the picture shows. Luckily the foam doesn’t fall.

Upper Body

Wear SatisfactionComfortable. In fact, the one thing I feel was done OK. However, the quality was very poor, and the stitches and hems were, again, very weak; so much so, that both sleeves tore in the same spot. Pictures below.

Visual SatisfactionFrom the outside, they look OK.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionVery comfortable.

Visual SatisfactionPoor. Hair trimming was done carelesly, I can track the process by just looking at the picture I took; “long hair > scissors > done”. The claws are made of some sort of plastic-like fabric, but they are quite crooked. Maker never made hems and they started tearing until I told him to please make them. If you see the picture in the album below, you’ll see that they even have a different colour, since the one in the footpaws was made from the very beginning, and the handpaws was added afterwards.

Feet

Wear SatisfactionVery comfortable. Sandals were not ready for the final ETA. I was given a pair eventually, however.

Visual SatisfactionUnlike handpaws, these ones look OK. However, the claws are crooked too. You can see pictures below.

RatingFursuitReview rates by asking the question:
Would you recommend this maker?

NO This review has been marked with a negative rating.
This means the reviewer would NOT recommend Ursidae Suits unless they significantly change their practices.

Final CommentsIf you are from Argentina and you want to commission a fursuit, please do some research and see if the maker is worth the money. I would definitely NOT recommend UrsidaeSuits; it is ludicrously pricy, and the final product is of very poor quality.
