Very easy
Frenzy was very receptive and quick to respond over Instagram. If I have one thing to compliment about them, I would absolutely say that her communication (in regards to setting expectations, progress updates, questions, etc.) is absolutely awesome. I felt I was in the loop regarding my suit throughout the entire commission process.
From start to finish, it took about 4 months for the suit to arrive. I did not have a hard completion date in mine, and the two months or so was mainly waiting for other suits in the queue to finish (plus the maker was moving at some point during that time). Frenzy was very receptive about questions I had about estimated completion time, and she delivered on that time frame.
Shipping was very quick; it took about less than a week for the suit to arrive. Tracking was provided.
I'm very happy with how Gray turned out. He's absolutely everything I wanted and more for my first partial. I'm very happy with the quality of the furring + shavings on all parts. The fit on everything was great, with only the head being a bit of a snug fit. The lining is very well done, and the seams are holding very well. It's definitely worth the price I paid.
The head is really comfortable to wear. The shorter snout design helps with the breath-ability of the suit, and I'm able to see very well through the eyes.
The head is admittedly a bit of a snug fit, but this was an intentional design choice since I mentioned to the maker that I'm planning to dance in the suit and didn't want the head moving around too much. It's also gotten more comfortable the longer I've wore the suit.
Gray is absolutely beautiful! Ngl, he came out even better than I had pictured him in my head. I loveee the way that his ears flop around and the furring + shaving was really well done.
Armsleeves are very easy to put on (takes me about 10 seconds to get it oriented correctly). The fabric lining does a job of absorbing sweat. There's an elastic band holding them together, and it matches my shoulder width, as communicated to the maker.
It's not possible to see this in the picture, but Gray's armslevees accurately represented the mixing of different shades of green + blue fur that I had in the design, which I was really happy with. Overall this part turned out great.
The paws are comfortable to wear, and with the larger arm cuffs that I requested they are really easy to put on (but stays on nicely even if you're moving around a lot). The whole paw has padding in the top and bottom, but slits are cut into the padding so you still get a lot of flexibility to do different hand motions, which I absolutely love. The edge of the paws also tuck nicely into the front of the armsleeves
They look and feel great! I was initially worried the cream color fur might be too dark, but it came out perfect when contrasted with the green fur + pink mink.
Tail is comfortable to wear. Belt was not included (which is normal) but the belt loop is pretty well done and seem to be pretty durable. The tail is relatively long, so I need to tighten my belt a bit for it to stay on straight.
I really liked how good the tail looks! It matched the design, and the fur is so fluffy. It also moves pretty well, and I'm able to wag really nicely with it.
The feet are very easy to put on, and the shoe size are correct for me. I would say the shape of the feet are closer to being circular to rectangular, and so it might take some getting use to. I've tried dancing with them, and they seem to be holding up pretty well to movements. I also liked that Frenzy added a tag to help distinguish left vs. right feet.
The feet came out great! The fabric claws were done very well + looks symmetrical to each other on both feet.
LED lighting – The eye LEDs look great, and the head has a special fabric pouch built inside to hold the battery housing, which is great. I would have liked to see the pouch made a little deeper though, since the battery housing have a tendency to fall out when putting the head on.
Floppy ears – I'm so happy I requested for Gray to have half-floppy ears. They are soooo adorable, especially when I'm moving around.
