Overall

Initial ContactSlots are announced via twitter and fur affinity. She also has a wide array of pre-made partials available. This maker was a referral from a friend but I applied for a quote through her website like a normal customer and I do not feel like I was given special treatment for being a referral. I waited in the same queue everyone else did- as is visible through her trello at all times.

Maker CommunicationLLM is very responsive to questions, quotes, and communication throughout the process and after receipt of the final product. She is easily reachable during normal business hours/operating hours that are posted clearly on her website via telegram or twitter. She is easily approachable and has a good air of professionalism without being too stuffy or uptight about the project. No delays were experienced from the time I commissioned her to when I received the suit which is quite remarkable considering she moved into a new house during construction of my suit.

Project Completion TimeThere was always a clear timeline of when the suit would be completed from the time I paid the quote. Her payment plans are very flexible and can fit any budget as well. The faster you can pay off the quote, the quicker your suit will be started as she does not start work on the suit until it is paid in full. The queue was clearly advertised on trello and is open to the public. He was completed as advertised and in the time frame that was projected/quoted and agreed upon.

Overall Project QualityOverall I am thrilled with my experience with this maker. She is very responsive to WIP requests and any tweaks that need to be made to the design during construction. The fit is 100% accurate to the duct-tape-dummy that was provided and he is very comfortable to wear. Her payment plans are flexible and her prices are more than fair for the quality of the work. The turn-around time is also exceptional. From the time the project was started to delivery was about 6 months!

Durability has not been of significant issue. There have been popped seams but these have been with normal wear and are expected. I walk a lot in the suit so it is expected that seams will eventually pop with wear. However, they have all been very easily fixed- the fur is cleanly cut and clearly marked/delineated for easy fixes. I contacted the maker and she responded right away with pointers on how to fix as well. To reiterate -this suit was delivered with no popped seams- any seams that have been mended have been a result of normal wear and tear on the suit.

The colors and patterns were cut and hand sewn to match the character's design. The paws, head, and tail are all proportional and line up perfectly with the bodysuit.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionFits incredibly comfortably with plenty of room for my glasses underneath. Mouth opens to allow fanning/drinking. Custom maker-branded head liner sewn in- made from sweat wicking material (though I always wear a balaclava as well). No rough seams or hot glue to poke, prod, or rub. Like most fursuits, vision directly in front is impaired but there is more than enough peripheral to see and navigate comfortably without being hazardous to the wearer or others around. I have walked many blocks with him and not had any major issues with sight. The fact you can wear glasses inside the head is a huge plus!

Visual SatisfactionNo obvious hot glue. The head is symmetric, and the eyes are hand-painted. The head 100% matches the character design. There is a zipper in back to allow you to wear glasses under the head. The fur is brushable and the liner is easily cleanable with rubbing alcohol. His head is my favorite style of LLM's fursuit heads. She offers different expressions based on your character and preferences. There were no adjustments from the character design aside from some tweaks to the eyebrow line that made the expression more readable for viewers. The tongue is plush and the teeth are plastic.

One-Piece Body

Wear SatisfactionAll markings on my character were done with cut-out/patterned fur so there is no smearing or wearing of markings. My character has a lot of pointed lines which do stretch with the fabric, as is the nature of the material. However, the markings are accurate and fit to the character/concept.

There were no popped seams on delivery, and the only seams that have popped have been with normal wear and are very easily fixed. The fur is cut extremely well and patterned and marked clearly so seams can be fixed and reinforced if they need to be. The polyfill in the legs can be removed via zippers on the inside of the thighs, allowing the suit to be washed easier. He is easily washed and brushed after use. Even with all of the padding, the body and legs dry well if you provide airflow through the suit.

The back zips up from just above the tail, so it is a 2-person suit in that you will need assistance to put it on. The fur occasionally catches in the zipper but it is unavoidable due to the long fur on the back used to obscure the zipper.

Visual SatisfactionThe body suit fits perfectly and does not sag in any areas. I am a larger guy, but the digitigrade padding (polyfill) in the legs and rear make everything look completely normal and proportional to my body size. All the fur is high quality and soft. His chest and belly is shaved down and are very soft to the touch.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe hands are separate but fit to the ends of the arms seamlessly. The pads are very plush and soft- wonderful for giving high-fives. The maker offers 4 finger or 5, and I opted for the 4. They fit well and are easily wearable. The seams have been durable. The hands are not lined but are easily set up on fans to allow drying.

Visual SatisfactionHands are plush and easily manipulated/worn. They fit well. The claws and paw pads are plush so there are no hard bits to break off or chip.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionTail fits right on the tailbone and is attached via an external belt with holes in the back of the suit so it sits correctly. The fact you can take the tail off and put it on freely via the belt is a huge plus for comfort and it is less strain on the fabric of the body suit. It is however, not easily sat in a normal-backed chair due to the foam construction if you have the tail on.

Visual SatisfactionIt is a foam base tail so it is not very flexible, but it is very bouncy. The seams are perfect and the design matches the character perfectly. Excellent proportion with the rest of the body suit and good amount of curl.

Feet

Wear SatisfactionLLM builds footpaws off of crocs as a base so they are incredibly comfortable to wear. I have both an indoor and outdoor set. All are separate from the legs but do fit to the bottoms of the body suit without issues or visible skin underneath. They are comfortable and wearable for long periods of time. They have held up to approximately 7 total miles of walking so far without any issues.

Visual SatisfactionThe paws are proportional with accurate markings. The indoor paws have plush pawpads made from trimmed fur- very soft to the touch. The claws are also plush so there is no hard material to break off or chip. The bottoms of the outdoor paws are the typical foam padding most makers use and are easily removed from the fur base so they can be replaced after they've worn through.
