Overall

Initial ContactVery easy, I found Newt through TikTok and then reached out on Instagram.

Maker CommunicationResponse time and updates were excellent. Newt was clear with the process and receptive to questions and requests for alterations, including a somewhat last minute one. (I told her it was optional and that I understood if it was too late. Newt still got it done!)

Project Completion TimeIt was faster than I expected. There was a slight delay with updates but she informed me straight away and it didn’t go beyond the ETA.

Overall Project QualityI am very very pleased overall. Through wear, I’ve only had a couple small seam rips that were easy to repair on my own. It is beyond the price I paid.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionVery comfortable, and snug against my head. I Can pull the head up and down without much resistance, and it doesn’t push against my face uncomfortably unless I pull it further than I’d ever realistically wear it for long periods of time.
I’m unsure of what it’s lined with. I don’t know much about fabrics.
I’ve had no pokes or uncomfortable rubbing.
The vision is what I’d assume to be typical. I have to turn my head to see due to no peripheral vision, and the space between the eyes is wide. If the sun hits just right, the paint for the eyes makes it hard to see through them. Not sure if this is typical, but I’ve alleviated it by using the eyelids as makeshift shades.
Ventilation isn’t bad. My mouth lines up well with the mouth of the suit, so as long as I don’t start running laps, I’m okay.
It does get VERY warm. I wear a balaclava underneath to protect it from sweating.

Visual SatisfactionThe shape is gorgeous and the patterns are pretty even. The only flaws I found is the sides of the eyes protrude a little from the head, which exposes some white on the sides. However, these are easily pushed in and I think I can fix it with some glue.
There is an odd Seam on the nose, but I DID request a somewhat last-minute request to change the nose shape, so I believe that is to blame.
Patterns are as I requested, including the complex sleeves.
The shaving is very even, I haven’t spotted any errors in it. The fur brushes nicely, but the length in some areas means it gets ruffled quickly.
The illusion of the follow me eyes is spectacular.
My favorite part has to be the antlers, which resemble outlet prongs. They are study and look even better than I anticipated.

Upper Body

Wear SatisfactionThey are not lined, which means they’re a bit itchy to wear. I don’t wear them very often because they are a bit tedious to take on and off.
They’re loose, but that’s a measurement error on my end.

Visual SatisfactionThe sleeves were very complex in design, so I was very happy with the outcome. Newt originally offers partial suits with feet paws, but she substituted them for sleeves at my request. There aren’t any shaving errors or intense asymmetry I could notice

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe paws are a bit big on me. I don’t know the standard, though. When I mentioned the size, Newt offered to remake them for me. I thought that was very kind, but unnecessary, so I declined. As I’ve worn them I’m more used to them now, so I don’t mind the size.
A seam in the lining did rip very early on, and I asked Newt for advice on how to repair it. Again she offered to do it but I assured her it’d be fine. The repair was easy!

Visual SatisfactionThey’re adorable! The stuffing in the hooves make them plush, but the bottoms are flat to keep the proper hoof shape.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionLiterally flawless

Visual SatisfactionLiterally flawless

Special FeaturesThe outlet prong antlers are very durable and sturdy. I Can pick up the entire fursuit head by the antlers alone. The material is thick, and does not give or bend.
