She sent me all the tutorials and specifications as needed. It was simple and easy. Maker CommunicationCommunication was near perfect as she was quick to respond, very clear as to what was needed, and so much fun to talk with about design choices. Project Completion TimeI was near the end of the queue with her putting 1 month away for suit heads//individual pieces, and 2 months for fullsuits which she always stayed with. Regarding shipping I picked it up in person so I can’t say much on that. Overall Project QualityBirch commission with Sunnysideup suits blew my expectations out of the water and she’s so amazing. The entire process was amazing and I was so excited and amazed with every WIP and update she sent me. We also got to chat a lot throughout the commission which I feel made birch all the more personalized and was also great for my anxiety lol. I mean it when I say 10/10, and if you want me to be “more accurate” the suit and the process would be like a 9.5/10 purely because of the hiccup of my antlers and a few tiny details that don’t matter whatsoever. The important thing is birch irl is perfect, so comfy, and flows so well!!!! Completely worth the price, and I will continue to enjoy the suit for years, and I don’t think I’ll ever get a 2.0 suit of birch since 1.0 is so amazing <3 Plus I was suit number 9 near the end of her first commission queue so they’re just going to keep getting better and better. Excited to see all their future suits and where their talent takes them. Components Head Wear SatisfactionWearing it is extremely comfortable! There’s an adjustable strap on the inside so that me or anyone else can wear it exactly as they want. There’s also great vision with only a small blind spot between my eyes. I’ve never felt any abrasion or pressure on my head or nose despite 4 hour sessions and it’s lighter than I expected. Plus the muzzle is big enough that I can put my neck fan in with almost enough space for it to be completely hidden. Regarding ventilation, I can easily wear the head outside with no fan, and I can last at least an hour with no fan indoors. Lastly my neck donut is held together by a magnet, and the back of the head has a hidden zipper so it’s easy to get the head on and off. Visual SatisfactionShe’s adorable and I love her so much raaaaaaaaah. I currently have no complaints on her looks or any of her accessories other than the minky antlers maybe being a little thicker but hey they’re still pretty as heck. I was also amazed at how well she did the hair cause it was the part on the head that I was most anxious about, but it came out perfect and I love it. Then the dots, neck donut, and overall complexion/shaping are beautiful and I wouldn’t change anything. Everything’s so smooth and easy to work with and there’s not a single detail out of place. One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionComfortable, easy to get in, I can easily fit my cooling vest in it, and I have plenty of movement. I did the fursuit games at fc with no issues and I had so much fun being a beeg ol funny deer. The only hole I got after 28 hours of suiting was far from any seams , very small, and on my butt, so I must’ve accidentally sat on something lol. Maker offered to fix it for free, but a friend who goes to my parties handled it. The inside is not lined and the stuffing isn’t in any pillows but honestly it’s way easier to clean than I expected, and using a green machine on the outside is super easy. My maker also markets them as being machine washable but I hand wash all my stuff so I can’t say much there. The zipper hands and feet are also very helpful for solo suiting, with my finger escapes I can suit 100% on my own with no issues which I love. Visual SatisfactionI was a little anxious about the arms and the calves at first but honestly I’ve come around to loving how they’re shaved. Also I love that my maker basically did a 1:1 of my simplified refs design despite the complexity. She was also very communicative during the entire process which I appreciated more than you could understand akshdjdj. Birch’s entire suit is very soft and lovable and I love giving hugs and cuddles with everything on. My friends always say it’s like hugging a living pillow. Hands Wear SatisfactionThey're comfy and the exact amazing quality as the bodysuit and head. They’re lined and sometimes I wear them just for fun and to enjoy having 3 finger hooves lol. Visual SatisfactionPretty as heck and so hecking deer. No complaints at all and so soft. They’re very comfy and very easy to get into though because they’re made around a sketchers shoe with nice insoles. Haven’t had any cuts scrapes or holes and I love the changeable soles between outdoor and indoor paws. My maker also put a lot of work into getting a sort of deer clop sound using a metal puck on the bottom of my outdoor paws which I love so much waaaah. Visual SatisfactionThey’re wonderful and despite the feet being pretty big they fit very well with birch’s fullsuit and flow very well. They’re also pretty soft and very smooth, plus the hooves are very cute. Special FeaturesThe cool things about birch include multiple sets of antlers, which a future version may use magnets instead of screws. Although, after some time I’ve gotten used to the current process and it works well. Birch also has magnets in her ears, teeth, and nose in addition to the magents for the eyelids, allowing me to make a lot of my own little gimmicks including things like lower gauges, a deer tag, and lil keychain holders. I also have some musk deer fangs I can put on, which will eventually be part of the floor dragger I’m going to commission for birch’s ferret x musk deer alt I’m eventually going to make. Quality of everything is 10/10 and very easy to use I also commissioned a custom head bag that I’ve been using to carry her with me on the plane, just out and about, and even on all my hikes!
