Basically the process is that they open for commissions via google forms and if you get chosen for the slot, StuffedTails emails you and also sends you the quote that they give to you. You can either accept it or deny it. Maker CommunicationStuffedTails was AMAZING to work with! When she starts working on your suit, you're basically getting WIP images almost everyday! She was also super sweet and kindhearted to work with. Project Completion TimeOkay so here's the thing. How long your suit gets finished is entirely dependent on where you are in the queue. However, once she starts your project, heads will usually take about 1-3 weeks and fullsuits will take about 4-6 weeks from what I have heard! So once it's your turn, be prepared to watch it get done FAST! Overall Project QualityOverall, I am over the moon with how Cali's head turned out to be. She was a lot more expensive than the base price but to be fair, StuffedTails had to use literally 14 different fur colors since Cali has SO many colors on her anyway. But regardless, it was way way worth it and I really couldn't be happier with the head. Components Head Wear SatisfactionOverall, the head is steady, comfortable, and well ventilated. In order to make sure that the head stays securely on me, StuffedTails has included a head rest, a chin rest, and a head strap that goes behind my head! Both the head and chin rest are detachable since you attach them by velcro. This makes wearing the head perfect for any head size due to the accessibility it provides. Additionally, the head strap that the head provides helps to make sure that the head stays snug and securely on me. In terms of comfort, both the chin and head rest play a big part in that. The extra padding that is provided ensures great quality comfort for my small head. Not only that, but their heads are absolutely perfect for glasses wearers, and StuffedTails makes sure that those who wear glasses are provided with the accessibility that they need. And no, you do not have to pay anything to make sure that the accessibility is provided 🙂 One thing that shocked me the most was how incredible the ventilation is when it comes to suiting. Usually when I wear my other suits, I constantly have to keep a fan blowing on me but with the head StuffedTails made, I was shocked to realize that I not only did not have to use my fan as often, but my glasses never fogged up during the suiting process! Double bonus! (And this is coming from someone who lives in the hot state of Florida!) In order to ensure that the head keeps me cool enough, StuffedTails uses tpu rather than foam for her head bases in order to allow more air to cool me when I wear the head. Furthermore, there are multiple vents that are inside the head located inside the ears and inside the head's cheeks. Also, the slightly open mouth as well as hollow and pickable nose make sure that the suit continues to stay well ventilated. Thanks to everything that was provided for ventilation purposes, I was also able to breath very easily through the head. The vision is another thing that surprised me! The eyes were bigger than I thought they were and therefore, provided excellent vision! I also noticed while wearing the head that I was able to see a little bit through the nostrils and the mouth. There is a minor blind spot between my eyes but that's completely normal for every suit, but otherwise, the vision is awesome. Visual SatisfactionThis head is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!! Seriously. When I got my suit, I kept it on my bed for the first few days because I genuinely could not stop looking at it. The shaving is absolutely 10/10 and I literally can not find any flaws, even after I tried to go into full Karen mode and attempt to nitpick even the slightest thing. But nope! I just couldn't find any flaws when it came to how the shaving was done! Also, the suit was completely spot on from her ref sheet. Some of the colors I chose myself since I already had paws and a tail made, so I had StuffedTails use that fur for whatever was similar to the paws, and had her pick the rest! Also, everything is perfectly symmetrical and I could not be happier with how she looks. Special Features*Magnetic eyelids (normal and UV hypno) -For the head, there are two sets of eyes. A normal pair and a hypno pair. These are so easily detachable because they are magnetic. It only takes me like 10 seconds to replace the eyes to what I want to wear at the time *Mohawk hair -Simple enough to explain. Just an added mohawk since my character indeed has a mohawk on her! *Sexy/naughty eyelids -A pair of eyelids with a sexy expression. They are also magnetic so they're easy to take off and put on! *LED lights in the eyes -StuffedTails has basically installed LED lights in the eyes! they are powered by a little rectangular thingy and in order for me to use them whenever I want, I need to put in a power bank. Luckily, I was able to get one off of amazon that was only $10 that was tiny enough to store in the head pocket, and lasted a VERY long time too. However, since my character's scalera is yellow, it makes it difficult for some of the colors to show at all. But obviously this is not my maker's fault! It's just because of how her character design is in general. -In order to turn on the LEDs, there is a teeny tiny hidden button located inside the right ear! *An additional longer tongue -Self explanatory. Just an extra tongue that is attachable via velcro. Also, there is a magnet in the right side of her muzzle so I can make it to where it permanently looks like she is licking her chaps.
