I currently have a full suit in the making for my primary fursona from another maker, but this is my first experience ever wearing a suit. Pre-Made Item Being Reviewed Camber the Wolf Partial in a toony style bought as a pre-made. Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction Incredibly comfortable. The head is built on a balaclava and fits smoothly and snugly over my head. Thunderhowl also verified my head measurement before shipping out the suit. I wear another UnderArmour balaclava underneath, so I can’t necessarily evaluate whether it absorbs sweat appropriately, but it does make cleaning easier as I just spray the inside down with isopropyl alcohol mix when I take it off for the day. Ventilation is superb. There is room for glasses in front of my eyes if I ever need them, and there is a good amount of room between my nose/mouth for breathing, Vision is better than I was expecting! Having never worn a suit before, I wasn’t sure how much I would be able to see. Yes there is a peripheral blind spot as with most suits, but I can see perfectly in front of me with no issues. Visual Satisfaction Looking great! The symmetry is perfect and the eyes are aligned properly as well. The shaving is even throughout with no signs of the backing, and the transition between short muzzle fur and longer cheek fur is realistic. The fur feels incredibly high quality, and I am very satisfied with the friendly/sassy look of this wolf! The concept art that was shown to me is true to how the suit ended up looking (though I didn’t see the concept art until after I bought, as this was a premade). The suit only has a bottom teethset, which work well with the design, but I may add two top canine fangs in the future. However, that isn’t a comment on the appearance, rather a personal preference. Special Attachments and Features 3D Eyes- They look awesome, and add a touch more realism to the suit. The quality of the indents for the eyes is spot on with no issues, and my friends really like that it looks like I am “looking” at them when I am talking in-suit. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction Only hands, no foot paws- The hands fit very well. They are four-fingered, so even with two fingers in one of the sections it feels comfortable. They allow for fairly good movement, but with the large pads it can be cumbersome to pick things up. The length of the fur on the wrists is long enough that skin never shows, and they fit tightly enough that they won’t fall off. The interior is a bit rough textured as there doesn’t seem to be a liner, but nothing I can’t handle as I wear sweat absorbing gloves underneath. Quality definitely seems top notch, but I feel like this is an area where only time will tell! Visual Satisfaction SO cute. The blue felt-feeling squishy pads contrast beautifully with the white and grey fur features on the rest of the paw. I like the cloth claws as well, as it is a lot easier to break resin claws by accident. The symmetry and shaving are perfect, and the fur colors and feel are perfect. I am very happy with how they feel and look. Tails Wear Satisfaction The tail loops on through two elastic belt loops that are sewn/glued in, from what I can tell. They feel incredibly durable. The quality of the tail is great, and it is comfortable to wear due to its lightness. Very bouncy as well. Visual Satisfaction The tail is a basic two tone design- but that is not a complaint! Simple is good in this case, as it matches the rest of Camber’s color scheme. As with the other parts, all aspects of the tail are excellent. Overall Product Satisfaction How well does everything fit together and match up? Everything matches up and fits correctly. Because it is a partial, this section doesn’t apply as much to me. I should note that this suit’s head is built on a DreamVisions Creations base, so it doesn’t necessarily match the rest of ThunderHowl’s designs. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t absolutely love this wolf! He is absolutely gorgeous. Overall Project Quality Definitely exceeded my expectations and then some. Camber is an amazing premade suit and a great introduction to fursuiting for me. The suit exceeds my expectations and is definitely worth the price considering the love that ThunderHowl put into the suit. Camber is absolutely adorable, and I enjoy bringing him to life every time I wear him. I feel like the suit will last a long time, and even if some sort of wear and tear does happen, I am confident that Skye and Aiko will be there to assist me if needed. Purchase Process Initial Contact Contact was made via The Dealer’s Den, so it was seamless. I found out about the auction via a Twitter reblog, and was instantly intrigued due to the fact that Camber’s color scheme was similar to my main sona Maker Response Time Super fast. Got back to me within an hour or two after winning the auction, then shipped out the suit two days later. All contact was done over Twitter, pretty much, with only one confirmation email sent out,. The ThunderHowl team is prompt! Maker Professionalism VERY professional. Absolutely the best part of the process was how attentive Skye was to my messages, questions, and comments, The process was simultaneously informal and business-like, with Skye really making me feel comfortable throughout the post-purchase process all while staying incredibly professional. Project Completion Time It was.a premade, so the entire process happened throughout the course of a week! From purchase to receiving the package took exactly 6 days, only 4 of which were business days! The package arrived on time, tracking and insurance were provided via USPS. Final Comments Overall, ThunderHowl (Skye and Aiko) are an amazing maker with a serious passion for what they do. I am looking forward to eventually upgrading him to a full suit when I have the chance, and even commissioning my fiancé’s suit from them at the earliest opportunity!
