Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction It is incredible. The Balaclava is perfectly cut, and the breathing is super easy. She comes with a de-tachable tongue for breathing purposes, which is great, because I had the tongue in my bag for my entire first con with her. The ventilation is good, I usually don’t sweat when I wear her, unless for an extended period of time (3+ hours) which is usually when I take her off. The vision is pretty good, definitely better than most suits. The eyes are big, with painted mesh pupils and sockets, which makes viewing through them way easier. I do have to turn my head to see, but the vision extends far enough I can see everything in front of me. My only nitpick is that the hot glue is a little weak in some places. For example, a little part of the eyelash on the bottom was starting to come off. But this is an easily fixed problem, and overall doesn’t affect the quality of the suit. Visual Satisfaction The symmetry is almost flawless. Since she has no markings, there’s not much to worry about in terms of that. The colors are exactly what I wanted, and the blue color of her mouth is strikingly exact to her reference sheet. The snout is the perfect size, and is even on both ends, along with her teeth being the perfect size. The shaving is the perfect size. Not too much, not too little, and only needs to be brushed on occasion. Her ears are a little fluffier than the rest of her face, but it’s not a big deal, and doesn’t ruin her. The fur is a thick, white, fluffy brand. It feels how fur should feel, very soft. Her hair is made of a softer fur, which is very soothing to the touch. Her hair tuft in the front flows seamlessly with her hair in the back, and it looks very natural. The expression is happy, open mouth, with open eyes. She doesn’t have magnetic eyelids/eyebrows, but expressions in her suit are easy to pull off with the correct body movements. It looks gorgeous from the outside, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Tails Wear Satisfaction Easy to wag your tail when wearing it. It comes with a belt loop, and it hasn’t fallen off once. It is a tiny bit heavy, so it pulls down the belt a little, but that isn’t a problem if you keep pulling it up. It’s about knee-length, and you can often forget you’re wearing it. It functions perfectly, and it will be fine if you squeeze it. Visual Satisfaction Everything is exactly how Hyena said it would be, and everything I wanted in the tail. It is stuffed, and very soft. No fur has ever fallen off, even when brushed. Since it is a single-color feline tail, there’s not much to say on it, but it is very appealing. Overall Product Satisfaction How well does everything fit together and match up? The fur is all the same color, it looks very realistic for a partial, even without armsleeves. Everything fits just fine, all of Hyena’s heads are the same size and fit pretty much anyone (with some exceptions). It hasn’t worn out, all it needs is a quick brush. Her head works with most fursuit sprays. Very consistent with all of Hyena’s work, I definitely got what I came for đ Overall Project Quality I am incredibly happy. Everything exceeded my expectations. Purchase Process Initial Contact Very easy. I messaged Hyena on Amino when quotes were open, initially looking for a suit for my friend, but becoming interested in quotes. They sent some examples, said a tail and a head were 375, sent their TOS, and I made a payment plan with them on the 21st, when they still had a slot open. Maker Response Time Hyena usually got back to me within a day or two, answering questions swiftly, and sending updates when asked. Maker Professionalism The communication was business-like, no additional banter, but sometimes we talked about their fursuits and their fabrics. Every question I asked was answered, and Hyena was very pleasant to work with. Project Completion Time Perfect! She was completed about a week before Anthrocon, and arrived two days before, which wasn’t a strict deadline, but a request. Hyena’s time was accurate, and all communication was clear.
