Very easy. I heard back very quickly and through twitter and then through Telegram after being directed towards them by a friend. They were very open and easy to communicate with and made it very clear all of the things they required as well as costs and expected timings
Fantastic. We moved from Twitter to Telegram and stayed in touch there. I saw constant WIPs, had a lot of questions posed to make sure things were how I wanted them, received a lot of advice and guidance which for someone who was new to a lot of the fursuit-making process was super helpful. She came across as incredibly passionate about suit making as well which made it even better
Very satisfied. I was kept up to date with everything time-wise. I had a decent sized window as I wanted to receive the suit before a convention that was ~8-10 months away which fit in with the timings of Bunnypaws' commission queue. The suit was started at the time expected and completed comfortably within the window that had been predicted, possibly even a little bit before, and due to living close by the items were even dropped off which was above and beyond what I could have asked for
I am extremely happy with the fursuit pieces I received. I am very satisfied with the overall fit of the entire suit and it is one that I can happily wear for extended periods of time without feeling like it is burdensome or displeasing to be in. I love the look and have had almost no failures of the materials at all despite a decent amount of wearing and movement in it. Those small repairs that did need to be made were simply a small hand seam which opened up from extensive use that was very minor and easily fixed and an issue of knocking the rubber soles off of the base of my feetpaws which Bunnypaws fixed very effectively under the repair guarantee of her ToS. There is little, if any, modification that needed to be done once the suit was delivered and I am ecstatic with how well he came out, especially as the project involved fitting the body to a pre-existing head that was not made by Bunnypaws, yet she did this fantastically. The suit has been very durable and easy to wash and has been absolutely worth every penny I paid for it. I adore him and will no doubt be wearing him for years and years to come
I asked for the bodysuit to be a slim fit and it definitely does fit pretty snug with a few pieces of foam to shape out the legs and back of the suit for the digi look. The tightness makes it a little difficult to squat in suit but that I expected as it comes with the body type choice and it is not exactly a common range of motion when I'm suiting so its fine. Despite that, after some rather energetic wearing (and even popping the occasional squat still), the seams have been completely fine and have held up remarkably well. There is longer fur on the belly to hide the zip which works well and the zip has had no issues with detaching during general movement or during zipping/unzipping. The movement is good and I am very happy suiting for long periods of time – I have on multiple occasions suited for over 4hrs in ~20-25C heat without feeling like I was at risk of overheating or feeling like I was in any discomfort from the body suit fit itself.
The overall look is very nice with tidy fur and good-looking symmetry and proportions throughout. The fur is of high quality and was matched well to my suit head which was from a previous partial commission with another suit maker. The slim fit look is much what I had hoped for when commissioning the suit and digi legs came out very well. Overall, I am incredibly happy with how he looks
The gloves are a good size and stay on well. They also have some rather ingenious little fingerpads and palm grip that Bunnypaws came up with when we were discussing grip issues with completely fur paws, especially in the case of the particularly dense/soft short fur that the suit was made from – these have worked very well and whether its holding drinks or props, I haven't felt like the gloves limit my capabilities to use my hands at all. Nothing has fallen off of the paws yet despite regular use and they have been easy to wash without causing any damage to them
The hands look good. They are a single fur colour with neat seams and even length of fur, and the small fleece grip pads aren't particularly noticeable from any distance so didn't create any situation where the suit deviated from the character in looks. The claws (fleece) are decent and well attached so they also look good on the suit. Nothing has been damaged or failed on the hands at all despite regular use and so the look has remained consistent
The tail was designed to be a large floor-dragger tail and so was designed (and I was advised by the maker) to use a kidney belt with it. The base is sturdy and with the kidney belt it attaches comfortably in place and can be worn for hours and hours without any strain or issue. It has been moved and bent a lot (particularly in instances where it was picked and carried and curved neatly because of this) which resulted in one small hand seam opening a small amount after ~20hrs of use – this was easily fixed with a basic hand stitch and is the standard wear and tear to be expected on any fursuit. It was not on a major seam and did not cause any issue with the tail's wider integrity. The base is very solid which is good for a heavy tail and it does not feel at all like the strap or tailbase is at any risk of detachment/damage from use as I have experienced with tails in the past.
Very happy with the tail. It matches very well with both the rest of the body and the concept art. It takes a little careful adjustment to get it matching up correctly on the bodysuit due to the mane running down the character's back and down the length of his tail but once these are aligned, the tail is an excellent addition to the suit and fits the character very well. The fur is a nice quality and the mane is well made so that it both looks good and hangs nicely on the top of the tail. It is a well stuffed tail to add a nice bit of weight to it which I like but there is also a zip to allow for the removal of stuffing if I was interested in depadding it a little and making it a bit more flexible.
The feet are easy to slip on and are comfortable up to a few hours. After about 4hrs, I do find my feet becoming a bit sore but they're built on crocs and so that's more and issue to do with how comfortable I find the texture inside crocs, not an issue with the construction of the paws. They stay on well and only show a small seam at the ankle if I stretch too far but that is also largely due to a tighter fit body as well as my height and is not a major issue as it can be easily adjusted with a small addition of a few inches of fur (a very simple modification). At one point, I did manage to dislodge the rubber lining on the bottom of the soles through my own extensive use but this was fixed by the maker by switching to a different base material that bound more strongly with another type of glue and there has been no issues since. The interior is very neat and soft around the ankle and this makes them rather enjoyable to wear
The feet look good with appropriately trimmed fur that is left a little bit longer around the base of the claws to effectively cover any sewing seams and the large claws (plush) are visually appealing while also being durable. As they are plush and attached at the base, they do tend to wobble while in motion but that isn't an issue at all and is partly the character's design of large claws and also the decision I made to go with plush claws over harder materials. Again, these are made from one colour of fur (except for the black plush claws) and the fur is neat and well shaved in the areas its shaved as well as well sewn so that they look nicely fitting
