Features: None Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial ContactSince the studio owner and main artist is a good friend, we had been loosely talking about this idea for some time. When an opportunity came up, I quickly made that choice and was very happy to be approved for the fursuit head. I took a bunch of photos of my head alongside several measurements and sent those via Telegram. Maker CommunicationAll of out communication happened via Telegram and it was always a pleasure to talk and exchange status updates. I never had the feeling to not know what was going on. Project Completion TimeWe talked about the completion time upfront and I was fine with the estimate which turned out to be just right before Christmas 2020. Overall Project QualityI couldn't have been happier with the final outcome. I knew the works of Beast Fantasia for years and was always fond of their style. So when I got the slot, I was sure that the result would be worth the wait and money and I was not disappointed. I am in LOVE with the head, its look and comfort and I got so much positive feedback over time! I can only keep him in the best possible condition and honor this great item I got! Every aspect of the project went well and flawless. Discussing, sending scraps of fur, talking ideas and features and shipping was also quick and smooth. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe head is super comfortable to wear and easy to put on. Inside there's a flexible and adjustable strap to secure the fursuit head to mine. Movement, even dancing doesn't cause the head to slip or become misaligned. In case of combining it with some thicker clothing or accessories like a scarf etc, the head features a zipper installed in the back. Key areas are padded so the head doesn't feel uncomfortable, even after prolonged wear. Ventilation is good despite of no fans installed and breathing is easy even with the beak closed. Two sturdy hinges allow for a nice opening of the beak, the movement is smooth and there isn't too much resistance. Vision is excellent, the mesh is well concealed from the outside, but fine enough to easily see through from the inside. There is only a minimal blind spot which is unavoidable due to the beak. Avoiding obstacles is fairly easy, the field of view is rather wide. Visual SatisfactionThe shape of the head is high quality and doesn't have any flaws that would be visible. The shape matches my vision of my character perfectly and the maker's style makes him even more precious to me. Markings are correct and symmetrical on both sides, the eyes are the right color and their size fits the characters overall proportions well. The different lengths of the fur are always on the spot to show off details and to keep the head fluffy in the right places. The small ear-tufts are a super nice detail which was observed during making. The inside and outside feel great, the fur is high quality, easy to care for and brushing is flawless to get back to a pristine look. Typical for an avian, his expression and look is fierce which is what I was aiming for while the overall look and gaze from his eyes carry a bit of the noble look that I like on him. The concept art were photos of my old fursuit head and information about the furs used on my body suit since the new head should match that as close as possible. I was able to provide brand name and scraps that I sent to the maker and they did an outstanding job, the head blends into the body (from a different maker) perfectly. Special FeaturesThe eyes can be back-lit via LEDs that can be adjusted with a SmartPhone App and are powered via USB.
