The interior is lined with a smooth lycra like material (though I wear an additional balaclava anyway.) -The head was supposedly built with room for me to wear my glasses in but when putting the head on after attempting about 5 maybe 6 times, I’ve decided on going without glasses due to my only pair being fragile and I don’t want to tear up my suit head. -The vision is phenomenal, the blind spot is just about nonexistant. The only big visual block for downward peripheral is my snout. Otherwise I can see really well. -The ventilation for the head is really good. The mouth I feel like, is a big source of air flow followed by the eyes. The backing of the head is not foam based, making it easier for air to vent out. Visual Satisfaction -Just about all markings are even and accurate to the original character concept. Both the eyes and the ears are even. -With the underside of the upper lip the lining of the mouth is uneven so if I tilt my head upwards, you’ll be able to see more of the left side of the mouth sooner than the other. -The right cheek is a bit uneven in that it shows more white than orange while the left cheek is accurate to my concept art. -The shaving is fairly even save for one patch around the scar under the left eye-it doesn’t feel or look as shaved down as the surrounding fur. -The concept has very fluffy toony cheeks-The head has very fluffy cheeks and it transitions really well from the smooth fur on the face to the fluff on the cheeks. -The head is very toony as I was hoping for. She is capable of many expressions thanks to the adjustable set of eyebrows and eyelids. -I am very pleased with how they added eyelashes on her; This way folks can easily tell that she is a girl. -The only issue I have is the color of the scar over the left eye. Its supposed to be a dark/hot pink but instead its a faded pink. -The orange fur on the top of her head shimmers in the right light. I really like that. Special Attachments and Features Adjustable eyebrows and Removable Eyelids: -The adjustable eyebrows are affixed using magnets that are preset in the head and back of the eyebrows. They’re very strong as they don’t fly off when I shake my head wildly. -The eyelids are made of tin and even then stay in place really well. -I can adjust them with my regular paws just fine, but with the claw gloves on its a little difficult. -The adjustables give her a wide range of expressions and I love that. -I had requested for her head to have removable blush and a squeaker in the nose, however it was forgotten. MFL promptly refunded me for them. Body Wear Satisfaction I chose to get arm sleeves and leg sleeves with my partial: -The quality of both the arm and leg sleeves are fantastic; both sets are easy to put on. -With the leg sleeves I discovered that they tend to fall down when I do intense suiting so I have to wear suspenders with them to hold them up. -The arm sleeves are easy to put on and stay on due to the elastic band on the back. -The air flow is decent; if I stand near a fan I instantly start to cool off. -The interior isn’t lined but its not uncomfortable. I wear under armor so I don’t feel the backing. Visual Satisfaction -The legs are a solid orange so no issue there. The arms have my zig-zag of white fur so again, no issues there. -The shaving is even on both the sets of sleeves. The orange to white transitions really well on the arm sleeves. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction -The hand paws fit fairly well; they’re sized to where my paws won’t fly off my wrists if I flail my hands around however the toony fingers won’t stay on my own fingers very well so I have to readjust them every few minutes. -Putting on my non-gloved paws is its own challenge but is doable. Putting on the paws with the claw gloves on is difficult; due to the large claws its a challenge to grasp the other paw in order to put it on so I occasionally need help when suiting up with the gloves. -The feet were carefully made with me in mind. They are built on shoes as opposed to slippers due to my requirement to wear medicated shoe insoles for walking. The feet paws fit extremely well. -They are also big and Toony; they do take a little bit of adjusting to get used to walking but they are big, soft, and light. -The hands are very durable with how many times I’ve maneuvered them in and out of the gloves. -The feet paws, again, are made extremely well. I’ve probably bumped my feet claws into things over a dozen times while walking and they still look pretty good. Visual Satisfaction -Symmetry on all paws are phenomenal. -The shaving transitions beautifully; the fur on the feet is shaggy at the top and trimmed at the bottom to show the toe detail-The hand paws (sans gloves) show the transition from white fur to the “furless” pink paws. -All of the fur is very soft to the touch and like the rest of the long orange fur on the suit, it has a nice shimmer in the sunlight. Special Attachments and Features Clawy’s Claw Gloves: A set of felt gloves with spikes on the wrists and claws on the digits. -The spikes on the gloves are secured very well. The claws however have had two have fallen off and I’ve had to re-glue them on. Tails Wear Satisfaction -The tail, while long, doesn’t get too much in the way of anything. Yes, I’ll occasionally accidentally sit on it, but it doesn’t knock over anything. -Its attached via belt loop and since the pants that I have to wear with her attire have belt loops, it’s not a problem putting on and securing the tail. Visual Satisfaction -The tail looks just as it does in the concept given to them; the zig-zag pattern is present and the shaggy fur on the tail is present. -The fur is soft and consistent with the rest of the suit. Overall Product Satisfaction How was your concept art realized? -Everything was very accurate to the concept art. Again, the only issue I had was was the mis-color of the scar on the left eye. How well does everything fit together and match up? -All of the colors and seams match up perfectly, so I have no problem there. Overall Project Quality I love the final product. Again there’s only the one issue but otherwise I have no complaints. Purchase Process Initial Contact -It was very easy to contact for a quote and I ended up getting to pay for her in full up front. Maker Response Time -They’re pretty quick to respond. As far as the response of me moving forward, that was all completed by September 5th from a quote on September 4th. As far as general questions, they typically respond between 1 and 30 hours so the response time was very quick. Maker Professionalism -They answered every question I had and were reasonably quick to respond. -I had 2 physical items that they forgot to ship Project Completion Time I did say that I needed her by March 10th of TFF and while it was played dangerously close, I had her in time for the con. Final Comments -It looks as if Clawy jumped out of my ref sheet into the real world, right down to her signature anvil. This experience, while keeping me on the excitedly anxious side, was well worth it. She looks even toonier than I could’ve imagined and I’m very glad that I chose More Fur Less to create her. Pros: -Friendly. -Fairly accurate to the character concept. -Willing to work with you on any special details. -Uniquely carved heads. -Willing to make and ship suit props. Cons: -The one color issue with the scar and the forgotten features with the order. -They didn’t send pictures of the completed product before shipping due to running right up against the deadline. -Some forgotten physical items and not receiving them for almost 5 months.
