Features: Hair / Wig Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial ContactFilled a quote through a form (information from Twitter), then got a price estimate by email. Once the opening date arrived, I replied to the email to show my interest, and I received an answer by email as well. The rest of the communication was done via Telegram. Maker CommunicationCommunication was clear and efficient. No chit-chat, no BS, no excuses. I received a few WIPs over the days, and a question about my preference on how to implement a part of my design on the suit. I gave a visual example and Nordstrom instantly replied, for confirmation, with a picture of the WIP that included my request, which I was very satisfied with. Project Completion TimeThere was no ETA if I remember correctly. Only a deadline (6 months), which was respected (3 months between the moment it was paid and the reception of the suit). Nordstrom has a Trello, where you can see where you place in the queue. The making of the suit itself took a single week (from the moment they said they are starting it to the final pictures). I personally went to fetch the final product from their place, by car. Overall Project QualityVery happy with the quality. The fur is soft, easy to brush, and the colors are vibrants. The suit parts are comfortable and seem to be made of quality material. There aren't any part that look rushed or done badly. It is still like new, it doesn't have any damage to it. Components Head Wear SatisfactionVery satisfied. It takes a slight effort to put on, as the neck is much smaller in radius than the head, but it's a good thing because it never fell off when I shook my head around. Airflow is pretty good. It gets hot quickly (which is natural for a fursuit), but with a fan in the mouth, I can last hours in it without overheating. There's enough space around my head for the air to circulate. Vision is alright. The field of view may be a little bit tighter than other suits, as the eyes are slightly angled, but I can walk around by myself without any issue. The head has not once brought me physical discomfort or pain while wearing it or during transport. For reference, I have been dancing in raves with it, wore it for 2 hours straight, and/or put it on and off multiple times in the span of an hour. Visual SatisfactionVery satisfied. Nordstrom has respected the design and made him look cute. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it, as well! The colors chosen are accurate, the fur is soft and becomes like new after only a few brush strokes, and it hasn't been losing a lot of fur when brushing, either. The transitions between fur types look clean and I haven't noticed any imperfections. Hands Wear SatisfactionVery satisfied. They are comfortable and have enough dexterity to make a few hand signs. They're super easy to put on and they pretty much always stay in place (rare are the times I need to pull them back on). They seem to have been made solid, they still look brand new. Visual SatisfactionVery satisfied. They look super adorable, they're ultra soft and they are accurate to the design. Tail Wear SatisfactionVery satisfied. It has 2 sets of straps (one higher, one lower) for a belt. They seem sturdy enough, I've been wagging it a lot and I haven't noticed any discomfort or damage. It attaches well and close to my body. Visual SatisfactionVery satisfied. It looks super cute, it's ultra soft and it is accurate to the design. It's pretty massive for a nub and I could use it as a pillow. Final CommentsA lovely suit! I have only positive things to say about it: It's visually pretty, it's super soft, the colors are beautiful and it's comfortable to wear even for long periods of time.
