It was very easy to contact this maker and messages were prompt. Commissions were advertised on Telegram and updates on closing dates on Twitter. Maker CommunicationIt was easy to communicate with this maker via Telegram and was very clear what was required for the commission. The transaction was professional when discussing aspects of the commission. I had also contacted the maker after the project completion for small adjustments which she was happy to adjust! These things included; A power bank pocket for my installed fan, an adjustment on the hair, and nose fixes(small scratches). Project Completion TimeCompletion time was faster than I expected! I was in the queue and was keeping up to date on when my suit will be worked on. The time expectation for the suit was communicated clearly and any delays with materials were noted (eg. waiting on filament or fur to arrive). This suit was not shipped but handed to me in person so I cannot comment on shipping experience. Overall Project QualityI am extremely happy with the suit I received! The quality is beyond what I would expect from a new maker and so much effort was put into this suit. The materials used on this suit are top-grade from the unique filament of the 3D print to the high quality fur used. You definitely get your moneys worth! The whole mini partial looks fantastic when worn all together or even in parts! I tend to wear the head the most and less so paws and tail due to my own personal comfort – this is not a reflection on the quality of the items. This suit exceeded my expectations and was very well priced for a mini partial. This style of suit is slightly different from her current work as was considered a one of a kind project. However, her current work is a very consistent style and you will know what to expect when you commission this maker. Components Head Wear SatisfactionI am very satisfied with the construction of this mini partial. The fursuit is padded specifically to fit my head and is very comfortable. The lining is absorbent and cleaning is very easy! Since the suit is 3D printed, the breathability isn't too bad but with a fan installed it is a perfect wear for cons. The air circulates through the eyes and mouth when a fan is installed or wind is blowing on the suit. I can also wear my glasses in the suit, however I prefer to wear contacts for longer periods of wear so the lenses don't fog up. The eye mesh is high quality and I can see very well out of the suit. All suits will have somewhat of a blind spot, this suit is no exception to that. The zip in the back is a bit fiddly as it does get caught either on my own hair, balaclava or the fur. However, this is a common issue with most heads with zips. I have enough experience with the suit to figure it out on my own. The fur around the neck has a cotton like lining which can lump up when a collar is worn with it. I have managed to smooth it out once the head is fitted to be come more comfortable. After wearing this suit in a dance/rave environment the vision holds up in darker areas without issue. The weight of the suit is front heavy but not too much for it to hinder my suiting experience. Visual SatisfactionI am extremely satisfied with the look of my suit!!! Every detail is well crafted and a lot of care was put into the creation of the suit. The shave on the fur is extremely high quality, no lumps or bumps or off cuts. The seams are trimmed and looks very cleaned up. The markings on the suit is accurate to the reference provided and are extremely symmetrical. The materials used on this suit are of a very high quality. The fur is easy to maintain, easy to brush and clean. The airbrushing is good quality and blend well with the characters fur. The expression of the suit is exactly how I imagined. I usually always have the eyelids on for her expressions and the follow-me eyes work perfect with photos! Lining is a very high quality!! I have never seen a suit with such clean seams from the inside! The nose is 3D printed and painted which I do need to protect from scratches and dents. So far, there has been some scratches with general wear and tear, however, the maker is always willing to touch up the paint. Hands Wear SatisfactionThe paws/hands made for this suit are very comfortable and fit perfectly to my small hands! I often find paws way too large for my hands, these fit like a glove. The mobility is fantastic! I am actually able to hold items without issue and have had no wear or tear to them. The paws are unlined which I prefer! They are a lot more breathable and don't become bulky. Visual SatisfactionThe hands are very symmetrical and accurate to the characters design. The claws are durable and high quality. The shaving is very clean and exactly what I was after. Tail Wear SatisfactionThe padding/stuffing is a great amount, not heavy at all! The belt loop is lop sided which the tail lops to one side slightly, however this will be resewn soon. Visual SatisfactionThe tail is a perfect curl! The long white fur used is exactly what I was envisioning for her fluffy tail. It is a smaller looking tail which I love as most tails look oversized on me.
