Maker CommunicationThe communication was very quick despite the time zone difference! My instagram wasn’t working so I reached out via email at first then we switched to instagram DMs. I loved that I knew exactly what to expect and was given lots of updates throughout the process. Project Completion TimeI was given an estimated completion date of November/December, but I received my suit in October. It was completed early due to another in the queue cancelling and shipping was very quick despite having to go through customs (no delays!). Overall Project QualityI am very satisfied with my suit! It went above and beyond my expectations. It not only matched the expected maker’s style, but improved on it! The maker was very easy to talk to despite being from a different country. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe head is very comfortable! It is lined and not too tight but fits so it will not fall off. The vision is wonderful! There is adequate ventilation through the mouth and eyes. The lining is a nice sweat-wicking fabric. Visual SatisfactionI absolutely adore how my head looks! I was very specific in what I wanted as I wanted it to be breed-accurate to a whippet which includes a long snout and rose ears. I love the shape of everything and her kind expression is just what I wanted! All the markings and colors are accurate and the maker worked with me to ensure the colors would be perfect. The fur is shaved smoothly and very soft. The maker added eyelids and tongues for no additional charge so many different expressions can be achieved with the follow me eyes. The only “downside” is the visible stitching, but I have no issue with that as 1) I knew from previous examples that seams would be semi-visible, 2) it shows how durable and high quality the suit is and 3) the short fur pile is harder to hide seams! Hands Wear SatisfactionThe hand paws are also lined with sweat wicking fabric and are cuffed with matching minky. This is important as the paws get very hot as they are puffy. The maker did a very good job on the hearts on the paws and included plush claws at no additional charge. They are very comfortable to wear and do not show my wrists or fall off, however due to the size, they are difficult to put on without help. This also restricts movement. However, I do love the shape and durability of these paws, so I think it is worth it. I may invest in a pair of unlined, flat paws for ease in the future. Visual SatisfactionI love the way they look! They are the best big ole’ bappers! The plush claws are my favorite detail, along with the heart markings. They are cleanly sewn, soft, and match the reference! Tail Wear SatisfactionI love the tail so much! It wags so much and is very lightweight and durable. Visual SatisfactionThe tail is perfect and exactly matches the reference.
