After a couple times of wearing, I did ask if it would be safe to glue-in the extra head padding that came along with the suit, since my head is small and it fit very loose. They let me know it was safe to do so.
The nose also fell off during shipping, but I was instructed to reattach it with hot-melt adhesive.
No issues after reattaching.
Lastly, I did ask for additional arm sleeves and was told it could be made separately, but it didn’t get done. I did forget to ask about this prior to shipping, and it didn’t bother me since I didn’t pay extra for it. Therefore, I did not discuss this with the maker post-arrival of the fursuit.

I contacted the maker through Twitter/X after seeing their commissions were open. I made my purchase through PayPal with a deposit of half the full amount, then paid the remaining once the fursuit was completed and ready to ship. They do use a translator/is learning english, but I had no issues understanding what was needed from me. I was added onto the Trello queue shortly after, with my references attached.
Communication was all done on Twitter/X. The maker was kind and very easy to work with! Whenever I had questions, I would get a response within the next day or so. They are located in China, so I made sure to ask my questions closer to when it was day time for them. Communication stayed formal. I got to choose/confirm all my fur colors, made a special request for my claws, and had no issues going back and forth with questions. They are very flexible to work with.
Project time was about a year, as estimated. I was given a Trello queue to check any progress. I paid for the more expensive shipping. My fursuit came quickly and safely within 7-10 days from departing the studio. There were two options for shipping and I picked a faster delivery with SF, which is a Chinese delivery company. Tracking was provided and my fursuit arrived earlier than expected!
I did want to add that I purchased an additional furdoll of Nova, and was told it would be completed/shipped at the same time as the fursuit. Happy to say the furdoll arrived shorty after my fursuit!
I’m very satisfied with my fursuit of Nova! When I first received the pictures I was speechless because of the cuteness. The fursuit is mid to high quality, and I haven’t had major issues that prevents me from wearing it. My expectations were met for the amount I paid. I’m able to easily wear both the full suit and partial as needed. For me, there were some minor things that could have been better when it came to the head, but for the price it really is an amazing fursuit. My favorite part are the translucent yellow nails, which I’m not sure if other makers would accommodate that request. I see this fursuit lasting me a long time before needing to upgrade or get a new version of Nova.
Also, the fursuit packaging was amazing. The bodysuit comes in a large, high quality bag that will be useful for traveling/storage. The head comes in a sort of bag as well. Without them, it would have been troublesome for me to put away when not in use.
The comfortability of the head is my only issue with the fursuit.
My head is on the smaller side, so the fursuit head fits very loosely on me. It does come with extra padding that helps a lot, which I ended up gluing in towards the top back of the head. I had to add a chin stop as well to prevent the bottom of the head base from bothering my throat. Without adjustments, my head on the inside won’t match my movement on the outside. Luckily, I was able to make it more comfortable on my own; although, it did make me nervous doing anything to the head. I did not want to ruin any part of it, as this is my first fursuit. I do plan on adding a headgear insert (and maybe more padding), since I have another fursuit head that’s comfortable to wear with it. After that, I’m confident the head will be super comfortable to wear. I also let the maker know I wear glasses and they were able to confirm it would be fine to wear in the head.
Kemono fursuits are known to run hotter with the smaller mouth and plastic eyes, so I had that in mind when looking for a fursuit. The head does come with a fan, but no battery pack so I had to get one. It’s not a strong fan, so when I have the full fursuit on I feel most of the heat in the head. My other fursuit head has a much stronger fan that happens to fit perfectly in the included fan slot. This improved the airflow greatly and makes a big difference (still hot, but more comfortable). Without a fan, it does become super stuffy in the head as expected.
There’s an inside pocket on the front side of the neck to hold the battery used for the fan, and other small items. I would have preferred it to be on the back side, so there isn’t a battery pack laying on top of my chest. I’m planning to add the additional back pocket in the future.
Overall, the vision is great, head is lined with fabric, and nothing inside the head pokes me or is bothersome. There were just some extra steps I had to take to make the head feel more comfortable when wearing and to have better movement.
Visually, the head is perfect! It matches how I envisioned Nova. I’m happy with the proportioning of the ears, mouth, and nose. I did make sure to choose a skull base suitable for the plastic eyes signature to kemono fursuits. No mismatched markings, uneven fur, or major issues. Very easy to brush (I’ve been using a soft touch hair brush instead of the included slicker brush). I didn’t make a preference for the ear piercings, but I’m glad they were solid rings/buttons versus plush. The follow-me eyes could be executed a bit better, but it doesn’t bother me much. I also purchased several eyelids which I use often.
The bodysuit fits nicely and is comfortable to wear. There is an option to send over body data measurements instead of a DTD (duct-tape-dummy), but since this is my first fursuit I wanted to send over a DTD to ensure the fursuit fits very well. The durability has been great, no loose seams or holes. No lining on the body suit. Overall, the airflow seems as expected for a full fursuit. It does get hot as soon as both the fursuit and head are on. Body alone, it’s not super hot for me. Maybe compared to a plantigrade it runs hotter, but I’m not sure since this is my first fursuit. There is thick padding on the legs, which makes it “clunky” to walk in, but nothing too difficult. There are markings on the inside for the construction process, but none of it shows through the fursuit. For the inserted padding, I do keep it up with a belt (which I also loop through the tail) since it fits a bit loose on me and can sag without it. I’m able to suit up by myself easily since the zipper is located on the front left of the bodysuit.
I’m very happy with the bodysuit visually! The markings could be a little more defined, but I also wanted a decently fluffy fursuit so it’s a good compromise. I wish it was one shade darker for the grey fur, although I did get to pick from all the available options and went with what was best. Asides that, the colors are accurate compared to my character sheet. Padded legs turned out great. No major issues.
The paws fit nicely and aren’t loose. Wearing them does make it difficult it pick up things, as expected with puffy paws/beans. It was my preference to look for a maker that does paws in this style. Wrists don’t show on the suit even with lots of movement. The paws have solid nails, which are durable and haven’t fallen off. Both paws are lined with fabric and can make the hands feel warm once the whole fursuit is on.
My favorite part! I requested for (plastic) translucent yellow nails for the paws. They turned out AMAZING. Every time the sun shines on them, they glisten. Looks very pretty in some pictures. The one issue with the paws is that the yellow star markings on the outer wrists are only on the arm sleeves from the bodysuit. So when I’m only wearing the paws, those markings are missing.
The tail is detachable with a zipper and can be worn outside the full fursuit using a belt. I can feel it near my feet when walking, but that’s what happens with a large fluffy tail. No issues, it’s durable enough that I’m sure I could use it as a pillow!
Tail matches my character sheet. I wish it had more flow when walking or wagging, but I did ask for a larger tail making it closer to a dragging tail than a wagging tail. Very big and fluffy.
The feet paws are very comfortable to wear, both lined with a mesh material, and are easy to put on. I provided my shoe size to get the correct slip-ons for inside the feet. I think the feet paws are somewhat bigger than traditional fursuits. So it does take some time to get used to walking in. I also have the same solid nails on the feet paws. They look just as great and have been durable.
Feet paws look great. Nova has yellow markings that go around the bottom/base of both paws. I do have to make sure the legs on the bodysuit are pulled down all the way for the markings to be accurate on the feet. If put on correctly, this isn’t a problem. It sometimes will pull upwards when sitting down, so I would need a handler to make sure it looks correct for pictures. I imagine an alternative to this would be feet that zipper onto the bodysuit instead, to prevent the markings from shifting due to movement. Not sure if that would be a possible option for this maker.
