Oliver’s head, tails, and paws were up for an auction which I auto bought in person. Following megaplex commutation was done through instagram and telegram. Maker CommunicationCommunication was fantastic. I was shown several WIP photos at many steps, and asked several questions along the way. I honestly don’t recall having any questions as they were always updating me as they worked, so I knew what they were doing and didn’t need to guess or wonder. Project Completion TimeI hand delivered my DTD in April of 2023 and he was done August of 2023 so in total his bodysuit was completed in 4 months. I was not in any rush but I was aware of time expectations and he was done in time for megaplex! Critter cove uses a Trello to organize their queue so it was easy to see where my project was and what they were working on outside of my body suit. I can’t speak on shipping as I made the drive to pick him up instead of shipping. Overall Project QualityI am beyond happy with the quality of Oliver. You can absolutely tell how much time and care was put into creating him. I did not think it was possible to be comfortable while suiting, but he fits like a glove, doesn’t get too hot for me, and looks great. While I of course didn’t have low expectations, the quality of what I received far exceeded my expectations, he was well worth the money. He just looks SO GOOD and feels SO GOOD. Components Head Wear SatisfactionFeels great, lined on the inside, a little tight but not in an uncomfortable way. Cleaned easily with a little green machine! Vision and ventilation is great! Visual SatisfactionHead looks fantastic! Face is symmetrical, no visible shave lines or bald spots, and he looks great from every angle. Fur used is incredibly nice! One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionBodysuit is so comfortable and fits like a glove. I am pretty rough on my body suits (running around, jumping, etc.) and prone to breaking things in general, but I have yet to see a popped seam. I find him to be incredibly breathable and I don’t find myself getting too hot, even with suiting in Florida. Visual SatisfactionDesign matches his ref, fur feels great even after being machine washed, easy to clean and take care of. Fur colors are immaculate, and completely match him. I am also super picky about the look of digi padding but he literally looks perfect. Hands Wear SatisfactionVery comfortable, movement is great, and hands don’t get super warm. Visual SatisfactionPaws are symmetrical, claws and pads look amazing, I am literally in love with his hand paws. Tail Wear SatisfactionBoth tails are great! He has a fox tail and a salmon tail. Both are super sturdy and stay in place as intended. The fox tail has magnets inside to hold his mushrooms and I have yet to have any fall off while suiting. Visual SatisfactionFur choice is fantastic, his longer fur flows so nicely. Salmon tails shape is nice and symmetrical (well they both are but you’d definitely notice it more with the fish tail). Feet Wear SatisfactionI have decently sized feet and his paws fit great, they stay on straight and my feet don’t slide around inside. They detach from his body with hidden zippers which look great and make cleaning super easy. I do have a bad back and am on the larger side so when wearing for several hours multiple days (like at a con) my feet do hurt but otherwise they feel great!! Visual SatisfactionShape is symmetrical and fur looks great! Paws have been worn a lot and gotten super dirty but with folex and a little green machine they still look brand new. Special FeaturesHe has several magnetic mushrooms that attach on various parts of his body (head, body, arms, and tail). I have yet to have an issue with any of them falling off or being an issue while suiting. They are super easy to attach and remove! They are handmade and all look fantastic. There was not a single time that I have felt disappointed or unhappy with my finished suit and there was not a single time where I felt I was being screwed over or lied to.
