Head

Wear Satisfaction

The head fits alright, my head is unusually small so I’ve had to do modifications (extra padding, shortening the elastic head band, etc) to make it fit well enough to use the jaw. It is still a bit front heavy so I plan on doing more modifications when I have time, but it’s not a bother. The front of the mask does sit on my cheek bone a bit rough so it can get uncomfortable, but that is not the the maker’s fault.

Ventilation is pretty good, the beak is hollow so air can flow through it pretty easy. I have plans to install a fan in the future to improve this even more.

Vision is as you would expect from tear duct vision. I cannot wear my glasses due to the resin base not accommodating them, but outside of that I can walk around fine without bumping into things.

Visual Satisfaction

Symmetry is on point as far as the base will allow! Shaving is pretty decent, and the fur is very soft to the touch and smooth. The underside of the chin has since arriving become wavy, but that from how I was storing the head at the time and is not something that I feel affects the look of the suit.

I love the look and expressions of the head! With the follow me eyes I can achieve different expressions in different angles. The only small complaint I have with the eyes is that when they were casted, the peak of the eyes have flat spots which can warp the look of the pupil in certain angles. It’s something that I’ve become accustomed to though.

The suit was bought via auction new so concept art was not an issue, Angeldragon5 and I created the concept art together after the suit was bought.

Hands and Feet

Wear Satisfaction

The hands are a little large on my tiny hands, but I am able to wear them in a way that they will not fall off. At the time they were bought, the wrists were unfinished and had the starts of falling apart. I temporarily finished them (which held for a year and a half) until I had them professionally finished by another artist when I had additional parts (not part of this review) made.

The insides are not lined but that is not a bother as I wear gloves underneath them. I haven’t had any seams pop and the claws were made to be removable so they have to be adjusted for every outing, but it’s a non-issue. Overall the paws are good!

Visual Satisfaction

Symmetry is fine, shaving is not the cleanest but it’s not noticable. Longer fur is very soft, shorter fur feel just a tad rougher but not by much. Claws have held up under a lot of abuse so I’m very satisfied by them!

Tails

Wear Satisfaction

Tail fits fine, I love how it bounces around as I walk! In character I can get a really good wiggle going when playing with other suiters. Quality is good, starting to show wear at the straps but after two years I expect it to. I’ve never had to make any repairs to it!

Visual Satisfaction

Everything is symmetrical on the tail, no shaving but I love the way the two colors blend together on the sides! Fur feels fine and soft like the rest of the suit.

Wings

Wear Satisfaction

The wings fit as well as I would imagine! They attach to any shirt I am wearing via magnets, one inside each wing and one for each wing that goes on the inside of my shirt. They bounce and wiggle as I walk, however if I jump around too much they can fall off.

Wings have been very durable! Only thing I have noticed is that magnets inside the wings are starting to migrate outside of where they should be, but they are easy to put back into place.

Visual Satisfaction

Everything looks really good on the wings, fur is getting a little matted where magnets connect but that’s it!

Final Comments
She was such a pleasant person to work with! When I received the suit she helped walk me through how to modify the inside of the head so I could wear it easier, and has helped me with repairs later into the suit’s life. We both worked on the original concept art for the character and I feel so proud to bring one of her suits to life! I honestly can’t say that I have any cons for her.
