Kerry was an absolutely joy to work with and they balanced friendly and professional communication very well 🙂 The commission process was laid out in clear terms and I was well informed throughout the entire process regarding any small delays or changes. Project Completion TimeI had requested that the head be finished before Confuzzled in May 2024 and Poe's head was finished in 1 month! Kerry works fast, but this does not compromise quality at all, everything is still treated with utmost care. Shipping was quickly sorted out and arrived on time. Overall Project QualityOverall the quality is fantastic and the head is so easy and fun to wear and is exactly how I always wanted this character to be, the head feels durable and like it will last a very long time. Everything about this head is made with love and care and you can really see all the effort put into it to make such a beautiful, wearable piece of art. The head is so worth the price I paid for it and my expectations have been met and surpassed. I have additional parts made by other makers and they fit in seamlessly with the head itself, they all work so well together and all the fur types and materials match up really well. The head is definitely in keeping with SGSuit's regular style and I feel like my artwork for the concept art ref sheet was translated really well into this style too! Components Head Wear SatisfactionHonestly this head is the most comfortable fursuit head I've ever worn. It feels so secure when on my head with the help of a chin rest and fits my head perfectly. The head is fully lined with a stretchy lycra/spandex (?) type material which definitely helps with sweat absorption and cleaning and doesn't feel rough against my face – which is important as someone with sensory issues. Ventilation is fantastic and although the mouth isn't that 'open', there are hidden ear vents which help massively with air circulation (which are also perfect to direct fans into for instant cool down relief :p) Vision is amazing as well and I barely notice the blind spot, which means my eyes don't feel weird after wear as I'm not 'favouring' an eye to see out of, I have a pretty wide vision limit. Overall an amazing fursuit head that I hope to wear for many years to come – this boy is built to last and made with so much love and care! Visual SatisfactionKerry (Snow Gryphon Suits) did a fantastic job with matching the character design and keeping things symmetrical. Shaving is even and smooth, no backing showing and the transition between fur lengths is smooth and works perfectly. All materials used are high quality and super soft. The fur brushes easily and doesn't mess up easily either. The suit head has a 'grumpy' expression with follow-me eyes and I love it so much, it fits the character's personality so so well. The overall appearence is exactly what I wanted and so much more! The concept art was followed perfectly, everything is exactly as it was drawn and could not be more perfect and amazing! Special FeaturesThe suit head has ear vents for extra airflow and ventilation which work extremely well for helping with length of suit wearing sessions! Also had piercings which had been 3D Printed and painted to match the reference sheet and some were even magnetic to ensure they didn't fall out!
