Prior ExperienceThis is my first fursuit, excluding a premade tail I got on heavy discount (maker was very upfront that the quality of that tail was low, and it was priced accordingly) from this maker previously.

Wear TimeAt least 44 hours, hard to calculate

Informed Maker of IssuesYes, after a convention (Aurawra, July 2025), one of the claws on my right paw started to fall off, I showed Amy (the maker, who was also at the con), who agreed to sew it back on for me. However, I ended up getting a friend to do it instead as she doesn't live close and they had to leave shortly after the convention – not enough time to fix it. More recently (~5 months later), a second claw has started to fall off. As soon as I notified Amy, she promised to repair it at no charge (again). As this is more recent, I have not had this repaired yet.

While the above experience sounds bad, keep in mind that this is this maker's first commission, and the issue is just with the stitching on the paws, which is also an issue on her personal fursuit. I doubt future suits will have the same issue.

Overall

Initial ContactVery easy, I had already known this maker years before either of us were even a furry. Measurements were communicated well.

Maker CommunicationWe stayed on Discord for the entire process, while this is my first fursuit commission, I felt like there was considerably more communication than most makers would give. I was treated like a friend, however that is because… well, we have known each other for the vast majority of our lives, even if we didn't talk much for a lot of that time.

Project Completion TimeThere was a timeline, however it was made clear to me that it was rough, and subject to change, as a lot of stuff was happening for them outside of this, so concrete deadlines were impossible to lay out. I felt that this was communicated clearly from the start.
I got to pick up the suit (minus the tail) in May, and collect the tail later at Aurawra in July.

Overall Project QualityI am happy with the fursuit I received, while it has some minor problems, I expected to have more issues with a fursuit of this price (it was on the lower end of the price bracket), and especially considering this was their first commission.
Everything fits correctly, and matches at the seams. It looks as I expected it to look considering their previous work.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head is comfortable to wear, and is lined well.
Ventilation is fine, air does circulate, primarily through the eyes, however the mouth is large enough to fit a fan, which I often use when fursuiting outdoors.
Vision is excellent, I don't have centre vision, but almost no fursuits have that, I have a small amount of peripheral vision, but not much. The vision is much better than other fursuits I have tried, and this has been attested by others.

Visual SatisfactionNothing is lopsided, markings are symmetrical, anything that doesn't match the character design was agreed on before the fursuit was made, as there was a lot of communication with the maker during the process.
Shading is even, I cannot see the backing
The material looks and feels great, nothing has rubbed off or bleeded. The fur is able to be brushed easily.
The appearance is great, however the ears have started to sag, the maker has provided advice on how to temporarily fix this, and offered to help re-stitch the ears if it becomes a real problem.
It matches the concept art.

Upper Body

Wear SatisfactionThe arms are a tad large, however it's not a problem or really a worry at all, I can move easily without popping seams, there are marks on the inside, however they do not detract from the appearance or bleed on me at all. The interior is not lined, so it can be a little scratchy at times, but it's minor enough that it doesn't bother me.

Visual SatisfactionThe arms/wings look great, and match well with the handpaws. The wings are actually quilted fabric, which gives them a unique look.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe hands fit well, however the interior lining is larger than it needs to be, making them difficult to put on, as it will get bunched up inside (I pull back the interior with one hand or paw while pushing my hand in, and this solves it)
They are mostly durable, excluding the issue with the claws falling off, which the maker has offered to fix for free, and will probably not be an issue on future fursuits.

Visual SatisfactionThe paws look great! Shaving is even, nothing rubs off or bleeds, and it matches the concept art well. However, I have found that the fur requires much more regular brushing than any other part of the suit, however this may be a "me issue".

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail fits well, however, due to the size and weight, putting it on can be difficult, however that isn't exactly Amy's fault.
It's mostly durable, however I need to be extra careful due to it being a floor dragger! It can be pulled on without it tearing, however it depends on the strength of the pull, I have had a minor issue with the quilting on the "mop" at the end of the tail being damaged after someone stood on it when I tried to move… However I don't think anything could have saved it from that haha

Visual SatisfactionThe tail looks great, feels great, and moves how I expected it to! However the mop at the end of the tail does "bunch up" when I move a bit, which is disappointing, however that should be a fairly easy fix, just need to put some wire (or similar) in there to help keep it from bunching up
