Features: None Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial ContactI found the maker at an event and this was their first attempt at making a full suit so I got a really good deal on it and was surprised at how well it turned out for a first suit. I paid via PayPal in installments with 30% deposit. The maker requested a DTD and a pair of shoes for inside the footpaws which I made and had shipped and head, hand and feet measurements which i sent via Discord. Maker CommunicationThe maker was fairly quick to respond to any communications I sent, usually within 8-12hrs but sometimes within a few minutes to an hour. We started chatting in person then moved to Discord for the whole process of making the suit. The maker was professional and polite and very open about where they were in the process when we communicated on a weekly basis even if they hadn't gotten much done. I understood going into this that this wasn't their main job so they weren't going to be able to work on it 8 hours a day every day but they were up front and honest about it and sent me weekly photo updates. Project Completion TimeI was satisfied with how quickly this maker was able to finish my suit considering it was their first suit and they told me from the start that they weren't going to be able to work on it full time. The maker was very clear from the very beginning what I could expect and I was not in a rush as I was getting a really good deal on this suit. I asked for a general idea of completion and they actually finished it 3 weeks earlier than predicted which was 4.5 months total. My suit was shipped via FedEx and since the maker and I are both in BC there were no issue with customs and arrived in 3 days as I paid for the shipping with tracking and insurance included. Overall Project QualityYes I am happy with the final product and how everything fits/turned out. It's exactly like the concept art and what I was looking for. It feels durable and very soft and hopefully will last for many years to come. I think over all the build quality is good but as this is my first fursuit I don't have a whole lot to compare it to but I think visually it's beautiful and very eye catching and I'm very happy with it. I think the project exceeded my expectations as I knew this was a new maker without a lot of experience but they nailed it on the head in terms of all the pieces looking unified and flowing together well. There aren't any gaps between the pieces and the seams match up as far as I can tell. Since this suit is only 2 colors the colors are consistent Components Head Wear SatisfactionOverall I'm happy with how the head fits and looks. There's nothing poking me anywhere and the neoprene lining is soft and helps keep my head dry. The ventilation is decent, it had a 3D printed base so not a lot of places to add ventilation and I didn't think about adding a fan until after wearing it for the first few times. The vision is as you'd expect, can only see out the sides but that's a given. The eye mesh is easy enough to see out of and is painted beautifully. Visual SatisfactionThe head looks beautiful and looks just like the reference drawings. The markings on the face aren't meant to be symmetrical but were captured perfectly and there aren't any visible seams or glue. The faux fur is good quality and very soft as well as shaved evenly. There doesn't appear to be any bald spots or anywhere the backing is visible. I love the extra fur on the back of the head to make it kind of look like my fursona has hair as well and everything can be easily brushed with a slicker brush. I love the expression and the movable jaw is super cool, people love how it appears to be talking when I talk and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. The eyes are follow-me eyes and are beautifully painted, I didn't want any white on the eyes and the maker was able to do that without it looking weird. Overall it looks just like the concept art and I'm very satisfied with how it turned out. One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit fits pretty good. My only real complaint is that the armpits don't have as much movement as I'd like and are a little bit tight but not super uncomfortable just noticeable a bit. I like the invisible zipper that goes all the way up the front and I appreciate the crotch zipper so I can use the restroom without having to take my suit off because port-o-potties are gross and I don't want any part of it touching the floor then going back on my body. The seams seem pretty durable and I haven't popped any yet. The suit isn't lined but I don't see any construction lines either which is good. The faux fur appears to be good quality and brushes out really well. The suit is hot but that's to be expected, it could maybe use a bit more ventilation but I'm not sure you would go about doing that. Overall I'm happy with it, markings are all where they should be and arms and legs are long enough that my hands or ankles aren't visible with stretching. Visual SatisfactionVisually I think the suit looks great. Everything is where it should be color wise and there are no bald spots or places where the backing is visible. The faux fur is soft, HQ and shaven evenly. The transition between colors and length appear smooth and brushes out very well. The final product definitely matches my concept art and overall looks great. Hands Wear SatisfactionI'm very satisfied with how the hands fit, they do allow for good movement and my wrists aren't visible at all as the paws go almost up to my elbows. They don't slide off and are easy to put on. They seem to be durable and good quality, the seams seem very strong and I haven't popped any seams nor have the paw pads chipped. They aren't lined but they're still comfortable. Visual SatisfactionI'm satisfied with how they look and feel, I went with a simple design of black fur with red vinyl paw pads and I'm happy with how they turned out. Nothing seems lopsided or crooked and the seams seem sturdy. The fur is soft and evenly shaved. Tail Wear SatisfactionI went with the full motion tail and I love it. It's not floor dragging long but it's still pretty long. I love how it moves, I have a hard time not wagging my butt when in suit cuz it's fun and it moves so easily. It took a bit of practice putting it on with my suit as it attaches with a belt that goes through a small hole in the back of the suit and goes around my waist but it actually looks like it's part of the suit when on. It came with a leather belt but the belt can easily by changed as well. After a few times I got the hang of it and it's not difficult to put on. It seems durable and no seams have popped and I was recently at an event where a little girl was pulling on my tail a bit and it didn't affect it at all which I'm happy about. The tail has a foam base and some stuffing added so it looks good and is able to stay up and move as it should. Visual SatisfactionTail looks great and matches the concept art, I love the black tip as well. The fur is soft and brushes easily and is shaved evenly. The movement is great and is super fun. Feet Wear SatisfactionThe feet paws look good and they have no lace sneakers in them so they're comfortable to wear anywhere. They're not as easy to put on as slip in and go but I sent the shoes to the seller so that's kind of on me, next time I would probably use Crocs as I hear those are much easier to put on. It takes some getting used to to walk in them but that's because obviously my feet are much smaller but after a bit I started to get the hang of it. My ankles don't show as the feet go half way to my shins. The quality seems good and there haven't been any popped seams as of yet. Nothing has chipped or fallen off yet and I didn't have Claws added. They're lined with neoprene which absorbs sweat pretty well. I've only spot cleaned them with a damp cloth so I don't know if they're easier or harder to clean than any other foot paws but I have no complaints there. Visual SatisfactionI'm satisfied with how they turned out. The fur seems like good quality, is soft and shaved evenly. They match the design as they're very simple and one color with no Claws and simple outdoor foot paws so no paw pads or anything. Final CommentsBasically this was this makers first full plantigrade suit and they exceeded my expectations in both quality and craftsmanship. I got a great deal only paying 2k for everything and it was absolutely worth it. The maker followed my reference and produced a suit that portrays my fursona in every way. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a MQ suit for less than the top makers charge and I think they'll only get better the more suits they make. Everything is made from HQ materials and and so far is holding together well. Everyone has to start somewhere but this maker isn't starting at the bottom imo. Are you the maker of this item?
