Maker CommunicationSuper professional and kindhearted! All questions and concerns I had were answered swiftly and with a lot of mindfulness/sweetness. Follow up questions and design studies were even made to make sure everything was sorted out. Kept me updated on my commission as it was being worked on. I felt we became pals after the commission was done, even though we began as strangers. Project Completion TimeIt was done super quickly, I was genuinely surprised and ecstatic knowing how fast it was made to completion. I wasn’t in a time crunch for a con at all but if I was I would’ve been completely set. Overall Project QualityThe suit captures my character basically perfectly! Everyone that knows me can tell it’s supposed to be me and I couldn’t be happier with that outcome! Even with me personally having trouble with making my DTD the maker was still able to make a very comfortable bodysuit. None of the seems have felt like they were going to pop. Easily able to get the full costume on and off by myself without a handler. Everything matches up the way it should. Components Head Wear SatisfactionTons of visibility with my big eyes (even with eyelids on). My custom round beak mouth doesn’t allow much ventilation but with a fan jammed inside it it’s perfectly fine. love the ability to bend my ears and change expressions with my removable eyelids/tongue. very roomy and easily adjustable with the velcro head straps built inside so it won’t just fall off unless you want it to. slightly heavy with the TPU base but nothing I’m not used to! Can remove eyes completely to easily wash the head thoroughly- my hands are personally a bit too weak to push them back in the sockets easily, but I can get it done. Visual SatisfactionThe zipper is fully blended in and cannot be seen at all when zipped up. Got the head details perfect- freckles, forehead stamp, and ear injury are very well put together. Slight bumpiness on the beak’s minky fabric, but massaging it down a bit helps. Removable eyelids and tongue add more personality. Head was 3D modeled and printed with TPU so nothing looks lopsided to me. One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionSuper easy to put on myself, and you can’t see the zipper after it’s been zipped up. It fits nicely! I can walk around and pose in it just fine! Sitting on the floor can be a bit tight around the neck, but that’s due to my posture I believe- sitting in a chair or on a couch is fine. Padding can sometimes shift a bit, but is easily able to be shifted back into place. Easy to brush through the fabrics used and barely sheds if it does at all. Visual SatisfactionLove that I got my spikey belly marking like on my ref sheet, wish it was maybe trimmed a tad less? But markings show nicely and no backing is shown! Fur is very high quality and is very soft. Hands Wear SatisfactionEasy to put both on by myself. Can pick things up and pose with my fingers Are completely lined and breathable imo. Visual SatisfactionClaw slits were a very cute option I was able to have, it made it match my ref sheet even more! Both hands are completely and evenly shaved, it makes it look just like the ref sheet. wished nail slits were a bit more even, but with how much I move my hands you can’t tell unless they are laying flat/still Tail Wear SatisfactionEasily able to put my existing belt through the hidden belt loop for being in partial mode, it’s hard to get the same belt through the hidden inner loops for fullsuit mode- had to get a new belt for that. I technically don’t have to wear a belt when fullsuiting, both tails can zipper attach to the bodysuit easily! (Which also means they can sometimes unzip but only with a ton of jarring movement) Visual SatisfactionBoth tails I have for my suit are perfect. One tail is a swishy medium sized furby tail (think lions tail) while the other is a giant floor dragger that represents a worm on a string (string included- which is a piece of black elastic) Worm tail’s string is easily able to tie onto my waist bag to keep it off the dirty floor/ground if I so wish- it is super sturdy! Eyes on the worm tail are very cute and symmetrical, lays nicely on the floor behind me when I wear it. Furby tail sags slightly but that’s because padding shifted and just needs to be shifted back occasionally. Feet Wear SatisfactionThey are marked left and right for me to easily see which foot is what. I can slip them on without help and they zip onto the bodysuit for extra security. Bottoms of the foot paws are able to be removed/exchanged for outdoor and indoor versions. Completely lined and are made with slip on shoes inside of a TPU base. Visual SatisfactionBoth feet are very even with each other and are fully shaved evenly. Wish zipper and left/right foot tags were less visible when wearing as a partial, but in fullsuit mode you can’t see anything Special FeaturesAll zippers for zip on features are very nice and well hidden except for on feet Magnetic eyelids stay on sturdy even with head shaking violently.
