For me personally, I am very happy with the overall quality of the head.
As the head was a premade, Bass mentioned the head was meant to be measured for herself, and mentioned the head was tighter than her normal style of heads, however it fits me perfect. It doesn’t feel too loose or too tight so it doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall off or strangle me at anytime. At the moment in time, I have found nothing pokes me or stabs me and I have had the head for over a year now. Overall, I find the head to be snuggly.
The head is bulit on a balaclava, so most of the foam inside the head is covered/lined. There is only a small section inside the head that isn’t lined but this is not an issue as it sits away from my face and doesn’t cause me any troubles. The type of balaclava Bass used aborbs sweat very well and releases it very well as well. This also goes for when cleaning the suit, it holds water well and dries very well. I have only waited about a few hours for the head to properly dry out without a fan, and witha fan about an hour.
The ventilation of the head is one of the best I’ve ever expereinced. I can easily breathe while wearing the head, and the air mainly cirulates through the mouth enterance and eyes. I have only experienced the head to get stuffy once and that was during a very crowded and busy convention.
The vision of the suit is really nice. There is a fair blind spot when facing forward, however this is not an issue for me as I have had furusit with much bigger blind spots and I know how to see despite this. I tend to use my right eye to see and only tilt my head a little to look around. Again this is not an issue. I can see very clearly through the buckram used on the eyes.
The overal symmetry of the head is very nice, nothing looks lopsided and all markings looks symmetrical. It matches the original character concept.
The shaving of the head is one of the best things about the suit. The transition of the furs is super nice, and the shaving super smooth. There is no choppy sections or random bits of fur longer than another. There is a few sections of the head where I can see the backing slightly but this is fairly normal for fursuit heads and it’s not an issue for me.
The fur feels super soft and very high quality. I have worked with different furs before and I’m very happy with the furs chosen for the head. There is air brushed markings on the top of his head, and they have faded over time with washes, but again this is normal for air brushing, and Bass has offered to do touch ups in the future if need be.
The experession of the suit is super cute. Bass doesn’t normally make ‘cute’ suits but in my option she mastered it. The head’s experession is super friendly from all angles expect from looking straight down which gives it a grumpy expression which I adore. The follow me eyes also give it such a cute and friendly approach to and when I’m wearing the suit in public, it gets a lot of people approaching and interacting with it, which is super awesome.
Again, I have seen the original character concept, and the suit matches the design to a T. I am very happy to see how Bass has brought to life the character.
The bodysuit is super comfortable to wear, one of the best I’ve worn. I can move very freely in suit, without any issues, and do a lot of actions while wearing the suit fully.
The seams of the bodysuit are very strong and durable, the seams haven’t popped with all the wild movements I do in the fursuit. The only time I have had a popped seam is when I pulled too hard on the zipper, and one seam by the zipper popped. This was later fixed by Bass herself and it hasn’t popped or broke since.
The isn’t any lining of the bodysuit, so I wear very light underarmour. However the bodysuit absorbs sweat well, and if I need a break from suiting I can just unzip the front zipper to call down. I can remove the padding of the bodysuit and wash the suit in my washing machine, so it is very easy to clean and dry. As far as I can see there is no construction marks inside of the suit and I can say that even if there was so, it does not detract from the overall apparance of the suit.
The airflow of the bodysuit is super nice, air moves through the suit very well, and I hardly ever get stuffy or too hot in suit. I have only had once expereince with it being too hot in suit but this was me being at a very busy convention, not the maker’s fault at all.
The bodysuit’s design is slightly asymmetrical, but even with this in mind, the bodysuit looks very symmetrical. The markings line up with one another and blend together nicely. The bodysuit also is matched to his bodysuit design perfectly. I am really amazed at how Bass took the time to note every marking of my suit down.
The shaving on the bodysuit is very even. I can’t find no areas of the bodysuit that show backing and the furs once again transition nicely with one another. I also love the levels of furs Bass has used, it helps mkae the markings especially the stripes stand out.
Once again, Bass made some amazing calls on the fur choice. They blend niely with the head, and they are super soft, even when shaven down. The air brushed heart and stripes on the bodysuit are also blended in nicely and haven’t faded at the time of the review. Also when Bass was applying the air brushing, she made sure that the markings didn’t bleed and gave me intructions on how to properly take care of washing the suit with air brushing on. She has also offered to reapply the airbrushing if it were to fade. The fur is also really easy to brush and flows nicely.
I am very happy with the fur, sticthing and other materials used on the bodysuit. The padding of the suit is foam which at first I was very worried about, due to having a bad experince with foam padding on an old bodysuit, however Bass has made the foam super lightweight considering how thick the padding is and I have no problems when wearing the suit. I have mention to Bass that due to a lot of wearage, the foam padding is starting to break apart from one another and she has very openly advised on how I am able to repair it and has also offered to repair and line it if need be. The padding is shaped very nicely and it helps bring the overall big but cuddly character personality the character has.
Overall I am very happy with the bodysuit! I have little to no complaints on it, and areas where I have had concerns Bass has been understanding and very helpful.
I’m going to break the hand paws and feet paws into two parts for this next part
HAND PAWS
I am very happy with the suit’s handpaws. This was Bass’ first attempt at puffy paws, and she nailed it on the first try. They are very comfortable to wear and add to overall charm of the suit. I am able to wiggle my fingers alright when wearing the handpaws however picking things up can be rather diffcult, which is understandable due to the stuffing in puffy paws. My wrists rarely show when wearing the handpaws with the bodysuit as they connect together with velcro, and they only show when I don’t wear the suit correctly. The paws stay on my hands very nicely and hardly ever slide off and I am able to take them on and off with ease.
The seams of the handpaws are very durable, they have not broken or popped during the time I have had them. The paw pads are nicely sewn on and have not come off. The same goes with the claws, they have been added on to the handpaws with a lot of attention to detail and have not broken or come off in my time of wearing the suit.
The interior of the handpaws are lined with lyrca, and the cuffs are lined with fleece. The handpaws absorbs sweat appropriately, and rarely become a task to get on and off with sweaty hands. I wash the handpaws in the washing machine and they have always come out fine and dried very quickly.
FEET PAWS
The feetpaws are my love-hate of the overall suit, this is because they are Bass’ older style of feet and she has improved so much since I commissioned her, in the future I will be commissioning her for a new updated pair.
However, the current feetpaws are super comfortable to wear. I am able to move around in suit both indoor and outdoor freely and with good movement. My ankles never show due to the feetpaws being bulit like a boot, and they attach to the body suit via velcro and zippers. The feetpaws stay on my feet and never slide off, and I can take them off with ease once I have finished suiting.
The overall quality and durability of the feet is also very good. The seams are durable, and i can move freely without the seams popping. The claws of the feetpaws haven’t fallen off and are very strongly held onto the feet. The only issue I can say I have with the feet is the under liing of the feet. It is made from EVA Foam and has worn down with the hours I have used the suit, however Bass has said she will be able to replace the under lining once they become too damage.
The show the feet are based on are simple pumps, which are easy to slip on and off. The feetpaws are not lined but that is fine by me. I rarely sweat on my legs and feet, but when I do the materials used absorb sweat appropraitely. The feetpaws get cleaned by my Carpet Vaccum and they are easy to clean, and again dry very quickly.
Overall I am very happy with both the hands and feetpaws. And any issues I have, Bass has addressed and helped with.
Both hands and feetpaws are very symmetrical, and nothing looks lopsided. They match the character design perfectly and I adore the attention to detail Bass has done by linking the markings from the body suit to the hands and feet. All the claws face the correct directions and I have no complaints.
The shaving on the hands and feet are very even. I can’t find any areas of the fur that the backing shows, and the transitions between the furs and lengths is amazing, they blend together so well.
The fur feels super soft and lovely, they don’t feel crunchy at all. No amrkings rub off or bleed. The fur is able to brushed smoothly and easily.
I am very happy with the overall colours and materials used on the hands and feet. The paw pads are a nice red leather that dye the fursuit in together nicely. The claws are made from a very strong plastic or resin, and are coloured to match the character’s design. I adore how the handpaws look and feel, and even though the feetpaws are Bass’ old style I still adore them and I can’t wait to see how much Bass’ has improved when I get a chance to commission her for a new pair. The hands and feetpaws are very string and durable, as mentioned the only issue I have had is the EVA Foam on teh bottom of the feetpaws wearing out.
The hands and feet both match the concept of the character perfectly. No issues.
As the tail was a pre-made to go along side the head, I am very satisfied with how the tail fits me as a person. It is very comfortable to wear, as it is super light weight and doesn’t pull on my belt or back. It has a very nice shape to it which allows it to flow naturally and move very smoothly when walking or moving in suit. I am able to put the tail on with great ease.
The quality of the tail is super. I can find no holes or rips in it and the seams are very durable. I can move it without popping the seams or straps, as well as pull on it without it tearing. The straps are very secure to the base of the tail, and are even so the tail doesn’t look lopsided.
The tail is padded with stuffing and is very lightweight. I can remove the stuffing when I need to wash the tail, and the stuffing fills the tail out nicely.
The tail’s symmetry is very even, nothing looks lopsided and the markings are very symmetrical. They suit the conept of the character perfectly as well.
There is no shaving on the tail, so the long furs blend together nicely and give the overall furusit a very uqine look.
The furs are very soft and are easily brushed. They all go in the same direction. No marings brush off or bleed into one another either.
I am very satifided with the colours and materials sued. The hint of sparkle fur on the fursuit makes the overall cuteness factor very high, and it gives the character a very uqine look and feel. It moves and acts how I expected it would, so no complaints.
Yes the tail matches Bass’ concept art for the suit.
The overall fit of the fursuit is perfect, I find it not too baggy but not too tight. The padding looks awesome when the suit is worn together and gives a very natural shape to the character. No parts tug on any parts when I wear the suit and are all held together with strong velcro.
As the maker is known for more creepier/scarier fursuits, the cute style she provided here is a bit out of the norm for her. However with this being said, you can still tell that this is a Bass suit from the eyes and attention to detail she provides. So overall yes, this is how I would have expected him to be when commissioning her.
Bass did communicate with me clealrly throughout thr commissioning progress, however she could be delayed with updates and responces at time. She never gave excuses or share too much personal information why she couldn’t give updates or why she didn’t repsond, she always said sorry for when she didn’t answer and a brief outling of her plans.
I did request to Bass to have the suit completed by the 29th November 2018 as a birthday present to myself, however if this deadline was missed it wasn’t a big deal. She kept me up to date, and ensured me that the suot would be done for the deadline. The suit was made for the intended deadline. No complaints there.
Bass delievered the fursuit herself to me at a local furmeet, like we planned.

Overall, I feel like I had a very postive and good experence when it came to commissioning Bass. Bass, herself was a super friendly and lovely maker to work with and I can see just from her suits that she puts her heart and soul into each and everyone of them. With each suit she tries something new, from LED eyes, to puffy hand paws, to different ways of crafting. The attention to detail she puts into each and everyone of her suits is outstanding. And this isn’t me, being a white knight friend. This comes from being a fan of her work for a few years, and to see her improve over the years has been something wonderful to watch.
The only thing I can criqute her on is that her commucation could use some work, as it can be a bit sparingly at times however, I found this not to be a big issue, as we all have lives outside of work and issues that we cannot involve with our jobs for professional reasons.
