When I first received the head new, it was a little tight in spots and also a little nose heavy. The articulated jaw was also fairly tight and stiff but it got easier the more I wore it. Adding a bit of padding in the forehead portion and wearing a balaclava worked wonders to fix the issues and she is very comfortable to wear! Still a little tight/snug to put on at first so I can’t recommend anyone with a head size larger than mine to wear her.
Ventilation is through the mouth and also has a small fan installed in the snout that draws air in through the nostrils. Since acquiring a cooling balaclava, my face almost never feels too hot with the combined airflow from the fan/and or propping the mouth open a bit.
The vision is alot better than I expected from a resin head. Still incredibly limited, but nothing you don’t get used to. There is a blind spot directly in front of the snout, in front and below starting from the lower jaw, and to the sides of the face/behind that is easily compensated for by turning or looking around alot.
I absolutely love the work put into the appearance of the head and it never fails to stun me every time I pull her out to suit up.
The eyes are 3D follow me eyes with green LEDs installed into them. Sadly, the LEDs stopped working after my first few conventions but that doesn’t take away from any of the fun of wearing her.
Features a small fan in the muzzle to draw fresh air in to keep my face cool.
Only minor issue I have is the wires for the fan and LEDs rest against my neck and the pouch sewn into the neck to house the battery holders can be a little bulky at times.
The handpaws are 5-fingered and very comfortable to wear. The palm pads are slightly stuffed and give a little extra cush to them. They stay on my hands but are still easy to pull off if need be.
I adore the look and feel of the hands and I especially have fun playing with and clicking the resin claws on the finger tips. The hand paws give off a very appealing dragon/lizardy look.
The tail is 3 feet in length and feels more comfortable worn with the belt around my hips as opposed through the belt loops of pants or around the waist. Tail is stuffed but almost moves like a semi-articulated tail. It has lots of movement and very whippy while still being stiff enough to not flop or drag on the ground.
The tail is stunning with the vibrant green/teal stripes and extremely soft and smooth. The frill going down the center of the spine stays up and doesn’t flop over. Everything matches the ref and all the stripes line up perfectly!

This means the reviewer would recommend Cawstumes.
I would commission Cawstumes again in the future for another suit. They did fantastic work on bringing my character to life and was willing and flexible to work with. I couldn’t have asked for a better maker to create Caprica.
