Nothing pokes and it is lined comfortably. Ventilation is excellent, eyes and a semi-open mouth made breathing easy. Vision is wide with respect to fursuit vision. I can see in front of me, and have a little peripheral vision, however I do need to turn my head to see certain things, which is expected. Visual Satisfaction The symmetry was nice and even. The shaving on the ears was a little choppy but barely noticeable until close inspection. The transition from fleece to fur was smooth. The fur is soft to the touch. The expression was meant to be a very general positive expression, and ended up being exactly what I wanted. Upon looking at different angles, a few variations of emotion can be achieved. The eyes are follow-me and do exactly that from a wide perspective of angles. The head follows the concept art. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction I am satisfied with the fit of the hands which were “hooves” and they allowed for a surprising amount of movement. My wrists did not show when the sleeves were on and they slide on and off easily. Their durability is good between the fur and connected fleece, however there were a few spots between the vinyl and fur that experienced separation after a long day of busy usage at a convention. I can move without popping seams and nothing has fallen off. The interior of the “toes” of the hooves were unlined, but the rest of the handpaw where the fur was had soft backing which made them comfortable to wear and use. The lining was neat and had a fleece binding to seal the edge. Visual Satisfaction I am satisfied with the look of the handpaws. They match the color on the rest of suit, and have even shaving of fabric. The fur is very soft, as well as the backing of said fur. The fur is easily brushed and smoothed. The use of vinyl on the toe aspect of the hooves was neatly sewn and turned. The vinyl is not easily damaged and allows for a wide range of finger movement. Tails Wear Satisfaction The tail is comfortable to wear with a belt, and is very securely attached with thick elastic. The tail is bouncy when worn and gives good movement. It’s easy to wear and put on. It can be pulled without tearing and the seams are durable as far as they have been used currently. Nothing has fallen off. Visual Satisfaction I am satisfied with the color choice of the tail as well as the symmetry. The shaving is even and the fur is very soft. It is easily brushed and smoothed. Overall Product Satisfaction How was your concept art realized? How satisfied are you with how closely the suit matches the concept art? Very satisfied with the connection to the concept art. The maker went above and beyond and actually helped me to correct a few species-specific anatomy measures such as the nose. How well does everything fit together and match up? I am thoroughly satisfied with the fit and match. All colors are consistent even between the fleece and fur colors. Markings all match up. Overall Project Quality I am happily satisfied with the quality of the project. Purchase Process Initial Contact I am satisfied with the ability to contact the maker. They are speedy to reply to initial contact and speedy to give quotes. Maker Response Time They take a reasonable amount of time to respond, anywhere from a few minutes to few hours at max during normal daytime hours, however when questions were more detailed, the maker was quick to respond and maintain conversation. Maker Professionalism The costumer service was pleasant and speedy. The maker is professional and knows how to communicate in a business-like manner, and was always very respectful of my timelines, input and concerns. Project Completion Time I was satisfied with my deadline. I had given a soft deadline of May 15th 2016 and they got it done 2 months earlier than expected. Final Comments My experience overall was pleasant. The pros included speedy reply times, open communication about aspects of the suit, openness to feedback and concern, as well as sending WIP photos on a regular basis to keep me informed. I cannot think of any cons. Since before my suit was made, I have seen aroccosuits improve in both quality and consistency as time goes on with their openness to feedback from customers.
