Features: Fins Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial ContactI contacted him when his quotes were closed cause our country was going through some financial things, but he kept in touch with me anyway and sent me a quote as soon as things stabilized! Maker CommunicationExtremely good communication, I was part of the entire process and he was nothing but extremely nice to me. He explained things as he was doing them so I was always on top of things. The fact that he streams the WHOLE process makes communication even easier! Project Completion TimeIt took as long as it should have, I requested it to be delivered at a con so I would not pay for shipping and he did deliver! Overall Project QualityThe Maker was extremely approachable and easy to talk with. He streamed the whole process on Twitch and had no issues with me correcting things on stream and redlining the pictures that he sent me. I was really strict with how I wanted things to be done and he had no problem with all the corrections that I made. He even didn't mind remaking the tail when I asked it to be much bigger, even after he had finished it. He sent a lot of pictures and asked for approval after doing anything so I felt really included in the working process. I also want to mention that this commission started as a mini partial (head, tail and hands) and then I changed it to a full digi suit, then I added the extra tongue and then the big paws. He had no issue with me adding all this things, even after I sent the first payment, which I really appreciated! My experience was amazing, the fursuit looks gorgeous and it's really well made, I highly recommend him if you are looking for a maker! Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe head is a little big BUT I asked them for this because I wear glasses. So it's a perfect fit with glasses and a little big without them. I ALWAYS wear my glasses, so this isn't really an issue. The head is really professionally made, it's fully lined and you can breathe perfectly in it, since I requested a big open mouth, which he 100% delivered. The vision is perfect, I have terrible eyesight and I can see perfectly fine with them. The markings are really neat, considering my character has a bunch of them in the face, I am super happy with the entire thing. I may have an issue with the upper side of the mouth, which has a bit of extra hair, but nothing a little trimming didn't fix. I love wearing it, it's really light, easy to breathe in and it looks stunning. I specially like how the inside lining is done, since it's glued UNDER the fur and sewn around the eyes and mouth, so you can't see a single spot of foam in it. I have sawing experience making clothing and I can see that the sewing is really good and durable. Visual SatisfactionThe symmetry is really good, though at first it wasn't. However he has an incredible work ethic and did not mind at all that I redlined the progress pictures he sent me with all the things I wanted fixed in every step of the process. The patterns are really symmetrical, even the nostrils which are really small and made in minky as super symmetrical. The shaving is really even, has a single "bald" spot in one of the cheeks but it's barely noticeable, I have read that BigZ has been having issues with the quality of the fur and tends to "bald" for no reason, so I don't think it's the maker's fault sine it has no bald spots anywhere else and the shaving is really even. The transition between long, short and minky is not noticeable at all, it is incredibly well done. The follow me eyes makes his design super cute and friendly and it matches the ref perfectly. One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit is as confortable as wearing a rug can be, by what I mean that it's extremely confy. I use the suit for at least 4-5 hours a session and never felt anything wrong with it. Incredibly mobile, I can walk perfectly fine with it, even with the huge tail and the massive padding. The seams are really strong, the sewing is really tough, I've been running around with it, lying in bed, playing games outside, and, again, as a person with clothing making experience, I can see that the seams are extremely strong. It's also been sewn twice, thrice in places like the elbows, pits, groin and knees, so the seams are really durable! It has no lining (the padding does have lining tho) but I do not sweat so it's not a major problem for me. As for the fur rubbing on my skin I wear an under armor, so the lack of lining is no issue for me whatsoever. Visual SatisfactionThe patterns are really symmetrical, or as much as they can be since my character has a lot of markings on the arms and legs and I am a really small person, so I know it's really difficult to be symmetrical with such a small canvas, so I do not blame him for it. However, it is barely noticeable when wearing it, so I don't mind at all. The big leg markings are symmetrical, because there's a bigger canvas to work with, same thing with the chest scars. The fur is really soft and high quality, it can be fluffed no problem with brushing and does not tangle. The colors are perfect, the maker and I decided on them together, they even allowed a color change, no charges added, when I changed my mind with one of the colors we had picked. He was really kind and helped me pick the new color no questions asked. He also forgot the orange minky that was to be used in the fins, ears, nose, claws and chest when he sent me the quote, so he covered the cost of it no extra charges, which was incredibly nice of him. The fursuit perfectly matches the design and even allowed me to request changes of the design from the ref by adding pawpads and removing the white line in the tail. The padding gives him an amazing shape and the digitigrades looks really really good in movement, I couldn't be happier with it. Hands Wear SatisfactionThe hands fit me really well which surprises me because I have abnormaly small hands, something that I told him about so he acomodated the pattern that he uses for the handpaws just for me. They have really good movement and do not slide off, he even managed to do the double color on the fingers quite well and added the extra long claws that I requested. I would have appreciate the hands being lined because I sweat ONLY from my hands and I sweat a lot from them. I did know that he didn't line the handpaws so I do not fault him for that, having really sweaty hands is a me issue. I am super happy with the paws! Visual SatisfactionThe claws look really good, but I have to admit that the orange and yellow parts of the fingers are a bit choppily shaved, the transition is not perfect in some of the fingers but they still look good in pictures, you have to really look at them to see the issues with the fingers. I do not fault them tho because this is the first time he makes paws as complex as these, and I do not think I've ever seen anyone done fingers with two colors before, so I am super happy with the outcome! They are amazing, super happy with how they look! Feet Wear SatisfactionThey are super comfy, they fit me perfectly and my ankles never show. My only issue is that the lining bleeds, which is not good in white fur, however this can be washed no problem. The seams, just like the body, are super well made and durable, and the claws are big just like I requested! Super in love with them! Visual SatisfactionThey are really symmetrical and look absolutely cute, the shaving is really well done, and the beans are adorable. The transition between the length of the finger and feel is really well done! They match the design perfectly fine and I am super happy with them!
