Flawless!
N/A since it was artist-designed.
I can see myself wearing this suit for a long time to come with how visually pleasing, comfortable to wear, and durable it is. It was listed for almost a year before I finally decided to purchase him, and I'm glad I took the plunge–he's worth every bit I spent and more. If you want a comfy, lightweight toony suit, please do yourself a favor and consider LobitoWorks's team, especially if you're local to the Pacific Northwest area. It's an amazing example of everything one could hope a professional, handmade suit would be.
The head is somehow both spacious and perfectly fitting. It's a very lightweight head, and made (if I remember correctly) of a stiff foam, so it's sturdy and stays perfectly shaped, and doesn't warp upon putting it on or wearing. It's comfortable and stays mostly in place, given that it wasn't made on any specific measurements as an artist-designed suit. Yet there's enough space on the inside for air to circulate inside the head–this combined with the slightly open, flexible mouth (just wide enough to drink a water bottle through!) makes it amazingly well ventilated. The most ingenious part to me is the way the antlers velcro to a panel that's inserted inside the head to keep them on. It's a secure attachment even with all the dancing I do, yet easy to take apart in transit and reassemble (which I'll need when I take this guy on a plane).
There is a relatively large blind spot in the middle, which was mentioned on the listing when I bought him, and I don't mind at all–what I CAN see is very clear, and the field and clarity of vision are still much better than suits I've had in the past (navigating with tear duct vision is a challenge you can never forget, haha). I frequently turn my head as I'm performing anyway, so the blind spot is a non-issue for me. I feel like in terms of wearing/performance style, ended up being a perfect fit.
Both the outside and the inside are meticulously finished, and the shaving and sewing work are super clean. The eyes are static and made of a wonderfully-chosen material (strong and resistant to scratches/damage but not heavy or visually out-of-place). Any slight imperfections in the markings or sewing work are so minor that you have to actively look for them super close up, and I don't keep the kind of energy in my life where someone (including myself) would do that critically.
All this is to say: this head is a great work of art and engineering combined.
My hands are small, so I'm delighted that the "one size fits most" hand-hooves that came with him fit great. They're very easy to put on, and I've never had any issues with them sliding down or coming off (even with my small hands). They're easy and fun to emote with, given that the hooves are stiff (as opposed to the more common paws), and I love the realistic touch of the shiny material use for the hoof-finger parts. There's even a tag on the inside to tell me which hand is the left vs. right.
They're unlined, which I'm happy about since they get quite sweaty with the upholstery material (not breathable) taking up most of the finger sections. The downsides to the upholstery material are 1) there's a stiff seam between the fur part and the hoof part that I can feel as I'm putting it on, and 2) the hands get very hot if I'm performing in the direct sun for significant periods of time. Both of these are easily remediable: I don't feel the stiff seams once the hands are actually in wearing position, and I should be taking breaks in the shade anyway (now I just ventilate my hands in addition to my head when I do so).
Even shaving, super soft and pleasant fur, and also perfectly symmetrical (I'm glad for the left/right tag on the inside!). They're made from an outdoor upholstery material, so no issues with chipping, damage, etc. and the hooves themselves are probably even more heat-resistant than my actual hands.
Simple and straightforward! Attaches with a couple belt loops so it can be centered on any piece of clothing in which I wear a belt, or on an eventual bodysuit.
Symmetrical as far as I can tell, and made of the same pleasant fur as the rest of the design!
