I learned of Bobo through a friend who had purchased a partial through Bobo, and contacted and communicated via Twitter. Directions were always clear and concise, and it was always a pleasant experience! Maker CommunicationBobo's communication was always good! I never had to wait long before getting an answer! They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and went out of their way to fully customize a new base for me when I expressed to them my concerns about what I wanted out of my commission. Bobo was always super friendly and I always felt welcome messaging them knowing that they would respond positively! They were very patient when explaining and helping with the payment method I used as well! I was always given updates on completion time, shipping issues, and general expectations throughout the whole process! Project Completion TimeI had never gotten a suit before, so I had no real idea prior to Bobo how long the commission would take. When speaking to my friends, they said that the completion time was really fast! It was completed in about a month and a half once production started. Bobo gave updates every step of the way and I felt confident that I was being informed and kept up to date with my project the entire time it was in production and was always a pleasure! Overall Project QualityI am very happy with the final product I received! My partial is durable, looks great, and is an absolute pleasure to wear and interact with others in! The quality of the head and hands are great, the breathability and vision in the head are great, and a lot of care and effort went into the commission to make sure everything about it was perfect for me! The commission was one of my favorites that I've ever gotten! Everything about it exceeded my expectations, from the progression of the partial being made to it's delivery, everything about this commission turned out so good! The parts look like the belong together too! I also believe the price I paid for it was fair and I think it was worth every cent! Everything matches well with each other and look really good together! They fit well and don't sag or come loose either! Bobo's style shines through for my suit and I couldn't be happier, it feels so good to have my character handled this well! Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe head feels great to wear! When commissioning the head I expressed that I wore glasses and my primary concerns were that I wanted visibility and breathability, and Bobo did such an amazing job on both! The head feels great and was sized with the intention of it looking better when accompanied by a full-suit! The head is roomy enough on the inside to accommodate my glasses, and I feel I can walk around most spaces with little to no additional help needed! The tongue insert is held in place via magnet and even with it in place there is enough room for my fan to easily circulate air through the mouth. The blind spot between the eyes isn't too large or obstructive, and I can see well enough in front of me! When navigating though, I tend to turn my head slightly and focus on looking out of one eye to negate the blind spot when moving through crowded spaces. I was surprised with just how much ventilation the head has as well, as my glasses never fogged up! The mouth was designed in a way that lets air flow through fairly well, and I opted for the eyes not to have the dome on them so air flow was good there too! The mouth is also big enough for me to be able to use my fan with ease when I feel I need a blast of air! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with how my head turned out! Visual SatisfactionThe quality of the head is superb, and it looks just as good! The head has no issues with any part being mismatched or uneven, and it matches the reference really well! The shaving was done well too, and there are no issues with anything being patchy or uneven, the job was done perfectly! The fur quality used is great, and brushes well! I have gotten many compliments on just how good the hair looks, and the layering was such a nice touch that really elevated the final build quality! Overall I'm very happy with how the head came out and how many compliments I get from it! Hands Wear SatisfactionThe Hands also turned out exceptionally well! They're comfortable to wear and have ample room for my fingers to slide in and sit comfortably. Movement is easy and with the length of the sleeves there's no chance for the wrists to show, and I've never had any problems with the sleeves sliding down my arm. I'm able to get the gloves on and off quickly enough to jump in and out of photo opportunities with ease! The durability of the gloves is equally as impressive, as I've had no issues with any seams coming undone or any other part of the hands falling apart. The inside of the gloves are really comfortable too! Bobo also snuck squeakers into the palms of the glove that I wasn't aware of but was pleasantly surprised to find out! Overall I'm very happy with the quality of the hands! Visual SatisfactionAs with the head, the hands match the reference well! The colors were correct, in the appropriate style, and the fur is even throughout the hands and sleeves too! The fur is the same quality throughout and is easily brushed! There's been no notable wear and tear, as I'm very careful with my suit, but there's no visible sign of any damages. Overall, I think visually the hands are fantastic!
