Features: None Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial ContactI happened to find out the maker via website and submitted a quote from there. Any concerns and questions in regard of the quote and project were eventually answered by the maker. Maker CommunicationCommunication was mainly done via Telegram. Most of the interactions were excellent and was quick to answer from the maker, getting updates every step of the way from start to finish. The maker was very cooperative and was enjoying to communicate with, which for the most part is business-like responses. Project Completion TimeGiven from the time that it would be initially started on December, the estimated time to complete the project was around April 2025. However, the maker managed to get ahead of schedule and started on November instead and completed it in 2 months (after discussing the initial details and materials needed). I received progress updates regularly from the maker so I have no worries about when it'll complete in time. Overall Project QualityI must say, as a first-time fursuiter, I have been more than satisfied with what I had got and would absolutely recommend Cedar Ridge Creations for those that are planning to get their own fursuits. I also love the way that the maker style the full partial, which was appeal to affection and meticulously design carefully, making sure that is close to the concept. The details of the head were absolutely amazing and blew me away on how the fur pattern looks, and the back of the fur has seamless transitions of somewhat of a layered pattern, closely resembling a sleeked back finish of the hair. The fursuit was also well composed together and didn't have to worry of wear and tear from the construction of the suit while wearing them. The fit is also great, very comfortable to wear and pretty snug fit to my head whenever I am walking around and turning my head. Communication between the maker was excellent and updates me about attention to detail and how it will goes. Along with a quick turnaround time and getting ahead of the commission schedule, this convinces me enough that the maker is very reliant and stays ahead between commissions. Cedar has been a wonderful maker, is very professional and pleasant to work with, and makes no hesitation on concerns and questions. One thing to note that is that as passionate as getting a fursuit, whether it is your first-time or long time suiter, Cedar is very patient when deciding and discussing about details and how well you want to design your suit. Cedar works very closely of wanting your design to be close as possible to the concept, which ensures closeness to details from start to finish. With the experience I've gotten with Cedar as a first time fursuiter, I highly am considering to work with them, especially if you have a design in mind that you like. 🙂 I did happened to contact the maker regarding the magnetic eyelids which happened to be forgotten back at home during LVFC weekend. Despite that, Cedar was quick to send me the eyelids in no time and I was happy with the full partial regardless. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe fursuit head is quite comfortable and has a snug fit that is tailored to the measurement of my head. The vision on the head is perfectly see-through and am able to see well–especially for a first-time suiter. The ventilation when wearing the head is quite breathable, and the materials inside the head keeps is well-done and excellently sewn. Though, I would like to add that when putting on the head, it can get a bit tight and had to give a little push but once it is in I get pretty comfy with it, which is no problem. Regarding vision and other concerns, it is quite an above average and have decent field of view when I am wearing the head, even with the eyelids. Overall, the head itself is very impressive, and has a comfortable fit around my head securely. Visual SatisfactionOverall, the appearance of the head and around the back is astonishingly accurate and great attention to details in comparison to the reference picture/sheet that I had sent to the maker. The maker had sent me updates regarding the fur patterns and small details to make sure it is close to as it can, meaning the maker is amazing care and wanted to make sure it matches the reference. The symmetry of the head is quite symmetrical by visual, and did an awesome job! One detail that I was not expecting is his nose, which looked a bit big than I imagined. Of course, I didn't mind this and instead makes him more cuter, even with the eyes. The transitions of the fur pattern on the back of his head is what amazes me, which I was really impressed on how the maker was closely referring to the reference. Though, this is my just a minor issue on my end because I would wish the red furs would be spread out a bit more, however putting myself in that same thought process and position of the maker back this would further complicate the creation of the pattern. Thus, the maker did the best to depict the fur pattern of his hair as closely as possible. Again, this is just a minor issue that I want to include for transparency. The quality of the fur is amazing, the head was well made and made by hand, and is machine washable. After washing and leaving to dry with a fan, brushing the fur was just easy to maintenance. Hands Wear SatisfactionSeems like a one size fits all, yet they were comfortable to wear despite being big. I was able to move all the paws as usual, so overall its perfect. Visual SatisfactionThese paws were very well made and are trimmed to perfection. The claws seemed to be 3D printed, yet it delivers that semi-realism to it. Despite being big, the paw beans is what sold me the most. They were soft to the touch, and the paws alone is to cover the area of someone's face. Very adorable and appealing if you think about it. Tail Wear SatisfactionThe tail is very easy to wear, and is quite comfortable. Though the belt is not included, I have a spare belt that I can use to slip through the straps and be able to wear the tail from behind. Since it is a floor dragger tail, the weight of the tail does not bother me at all. However, because of the fur color choice, I have to be careful of dragging the tail for prolonged periods of time before seeing the noticeable dirt from dragging the floor itself. Visual SatisfactionThe best part of this tail is how exceptionally fluffy and soft to the touch. Being able to brush the fur very easily gives out that smooth and delicate look to it. Considering that the tail length alone can just be able to hug it, at least. That is the main selling point of having a tail with long length so that others can experience to enjoy it as well. Feet Wear SatisfactionThe feet paws are EXTREMELY comfortable to wear, and the size of the paws are easy to move around. It seems there are paddings around my feet and that is what makes walking around with the paws to be easy and have comfort most of the time. I have not tried to use these feet paws over rain due to the weather that is always hot and dry from where I live. Removing them from wear is also easy. The fur quality of the paws seems to be flawless, and are just perfect just like the rest of the full partial. Though, I may have to be careful storing the feet paws because of the hard claws. These feet paws are designed to be made for outdoors, so I do tend to clean the soles underneath the paws if I want to use them indoor as well. Overall, this is no problem due to the material used is quite sturdy. Visual SatisfactionThe visuals of the feet paws seemed to match and symmetrical, and is quite flawless from how they are designed and made. The shavings of the fur seems seamless and are perfect.
