Maker CommunicationCommunication with Crystumes went smoothly and she always responded very polite! Already a couple days after the first payment was made she showed some W.I.PS photo’s. Whenever she had progress photo’s too share she would, she would even contact me too ask if certain colours were done correctly or too get my opinion on what I would prefer before continuing. Whenever I would reach out to her with a questions or anything else she would always respond very quickly and friendly! I think the longest time I had too wait for a response from her was 2-10 days, Which is totally understandable. Project Completion TimeThe suit was done at the time she predicted it would, so Im very satisfied with that! Even made sure the head could be completed before a convention so my friend could take the head home for me, which saved me on shipping and Import fees. Overall Project QualityI am very satisfied with what I got and I absolutely love how it turned out! Crystumes exceeded my expectations and followed my references perfectly. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe head is very comfortable to wear, I was a litte scared the blank would be heavy due to the large beak but its very light weight. Even with the added mane the head is not heavy at all and It sits on my head comfortably. The forehead and chin padding perfectly align with my face, so with moving or dancing my mask doesn’t move around and stays secure on my head. The chin padding also works as a chin cup to have the moving jaw work smoothly. Even with the large beak the suit has no Blind-spot and the vision is very good. Only hiccup I have is that the back zipper is very small, if hides perfectly in the fur but it can be quite tricky to open and close by myself. Visual SatisfactionI absolutely love how she looks, the hair/mane got too be my favourite part about the head. Crystumes went out of her way too try a new hair wefting technique too make sure the hair would turn out exactly the way I wanted, I cant thank crystumes enough for the extra time she took to do that! It turned out exactly like I hoped. The eyes and overall head have so much more detail than I thought she would have, I absolutely love it! feather detail on her face is defenitly something i adore. The only thing she did differently from my references is pointing the ears a little higher, But its not a detail I mind and I still love how they look. other than that she followed my references/ideas perfectly! If I have to be super nitpicky, did see some minor spots around the beak where tiny bits of glue and foam were showing, but in all honestly its so minor it doesn’t even bother me and those spots were easily fixed by myself.
